I had been reassured that John was aware of my request plus I had submitted pictures. A simple black & gray tattoo that maybe should have taken an hour to do. Instead, I have 5 flower heads without stems or leaves that cost more than double what I was expecting. There is no way to rectify this. The script is completely obscured. To say that I'm not happy is an understatement. This is why I felt the need to have a consultation. Obviously, he did not understand what I meant. Flower at the base of my neck, leaves on either side of script & stem running down my back around the words. This tattoo looks nothing like what I asked for. Avoid at all costs!!!

It was a quick tattoo, but I enjoyed the fact that he was open to chatting with my sister and I during the process. I decided to go with Jim's after a lot of research (I had been waiting on getting this tattoo for about two years). I saw that they were voted number one in NH in 2016, so I travelled down from Portsmouth to make sure I was going with the best. It was definitely worth it. Everything was super clean and hygienic. They charge to use a card, so make sure you either bring cash or a debit card (so you can get cash out of their ATM). From the research I did prior, I can tell you that I got a very reasonable price for my tattoo: $60. It is about two inches long and includes 4 Korean Hanja characters (the older version of today's modern Hangul, Hanja can easily be mistaken for Chinese, as it is also translatable in Chinese, but not commonly used in China anymore). Dave followed the exact lines of the phrase I printed out, and asked me to double check the characters weren't upside down or anything before he began. I would highly recommend Jim's to any of my friends, and plan on returning sometime in the future for my next tattoo!

The thought process it takes to be able to visualize and incorporate all of the elements in a artful way is a talent supported by a skill set developed over many years. This is something that is out of my wheelhouse, so procrastination won the day, or at least the last 972 days.... So when I happened to run into Bob while out and about two weeks ago, it turned into a relief. 5 minutes of him listening to my idea, I became rededicated to dropping the hammer on this thing because he was quickly and seemingly effortlessly able to take all of the parts and put them in a cohesive vision... It was like a mental anchor being lifted. ​Then we sat down last week and started a physical framework with design aspects that I hadn't even considered, but made it come to life... The long and short. Bob is good at what he does, because first and foremost he listens and cares about the outcome, you're not just a number. He creates a relaxed, clean environment, but gets it done in a professional way. The bottom line, he's an artist that you'd confidently recommend to friends, and that says everything you need to know...

Showed up randomly one week night to get a small tattoo on a whim with a friend. Adam took us on…read moreeven though he had already cleaned down his station. They both came out so good that I booked him for a full day for a bunch of little projects I wanted done. They all came out phenomenal, including some small finger ones. Not only was he extremely patient when I wanted to tweak stencil placement a couple of times, he ENCOURAGED me and made me feel super comfortable. One tattoo we worked on was a wave of words down my leg. He free handed the general shape, took the time to cut each word and tape them to my leg, we checked and rechecked the design, placement, flow etc and I ended up changing the font style and he worked with me every step of the way.
