There were a lot of highlights- the big bridge, climbing the boulders to the scenic overlook of a huge marsh where we saw an enormous heron and lots of wild life- we saw porcupine, chipmunks, bunnies, and some cool birds, The trails were pretty easy, my three year old handled them well. There's even an ADA trail, making this an inclusive outdoor activity. This will remain a tradition when we go back to Thousand Islands!

This was a pretty nice, smaller park located right on the St Lawrence River, near Alex Bay. The…read morebath house was pretty poor, with a bad screen door, dirty and filled with sand flies. The sites were pretty level, the grounds were generally kept up well, a new playground was being constructed and looked cool. The boat launch area was really very nice with several docks for use. Checking in was a bore also, as the computer system was not working and the guy was in a bad way trying to get me in even though I was preregistered! Overall average

Somewhat "private" state park with limited access, you have to have your own boat, or rental, or…read morethrough boat cab to get on this park. There are a few camping sites available and a loop trial. Restrooms are available and maintained quite well. We stopped by for the trial, enjoyed beautiful view on the island, highly recommend!
