When you leave their dock its only minutes to go to the Boldt Castle, docking there is free and simple. Its about 30 min by pontoon to get to the Singer Castle also free docking and easy. Be sure to rent an extra day if you want to stay out past 5PM! It's easy to lose track of time on the water when there is so much to do! There is a gas dock not far at a state park that was easy to dock. So all of that to tell you that renting from this location is just perfect!

Their pontoon boats seemed like they were brand new and really in great working order. Our boat would fit 12 people ( but who wants that) They took the time out to make sure we were completely comfortable on the boat, plus gave us some great tips about where we could go on the river for what we wanted to do. This year, we decided to transition from renters to owners, and so we bought a Mastercraft NXT20 from Len's. I've got to say---I can't imagine a better purchasing experience! The team at Len's really has this process dialed, and made it very clear and easy for my wife and I to know and understand all the steps (and the timeline of those steps) leading up to our taking possession of the boat. Everyone at Len's was so helpful and responsive, and even now that the purchase is over and done we feel a tremendous level of support from the Len's team in the continuing care and maintenance of the NXT. They examined it quickly to determine if parts needed to be ordered. In going through the checklist the mechanic discovered an improperly attached fuel injector....something 'accomplished' by the other shop. Got it back in one day! It is a 2 hour drive but we'll worth it for their service. And it runs better than ever.​

A Clayton marina wouldn't even take the time to look at it, & that has happened to us in the past. But Chalks did & replaced a solenoid quickly so they were back on the water. The lack of service by the Clayton marina cost them a potential jet ski sale because none of our family will ever go back there.

Got $50 off the daily rate because boat was dropped off half hour late but only had 2 hrs on the prior to breaking down. experience no thanks to the terrible old geezer of a boat and zero training or guidance. Do something me and my family didnt do. Read these reviews, they dont lie. Gave them a 2nd star because of the $50 I got back. Still cost $500.

Hearing info about the 1000 was cool. The prices for the boat tours seems pretty affordable. There are washrooms onboard. Also, there was snacks and drinks have similar prices to concert and events food and drinks. For the 3 hour tour We took a morning tour. It was not very busy so there's a lot of space to move around. The most popular spot was the very front (bottom level). It's calm though it might be a little long for some. For the 5 hour tour: We took an afternoon/evening tour. Despite how busy it is, it was cool to visit and step foot on Boldt Island. Also, make sure you know which boat you were on as there will be multiple tour boats from other companies in the area. The Island and Castle were larger than I thought. The achitecture and interior were gorgeous and impressive. From what I remember, I think the gift shop accepts both currencies.

In particular, we wanted to go on the 2.5 Hour boat tour and loved the beauty, history and the locals enjoying the water too! The second portion was visiting the Famous Heart Island where George C. Boldt, millionaire proprietor of the world famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, set out to build a full size rhineland castle in Alexandria Bay, on picturesque Heart Island.  The grandiose structure was to be a display of his love for his wife, Louise. The structures on the island were amazing! I personally LOVE architecture and history so this was a fantastic experience! Had it been Pre-Covid times, we would have been able to disembark from the boat and explored the island, as the Americans were doing. But because it is technically on the American side of the St Lawrence River, and because of the pandemic, we could only admire it from afar. We can't wait for warmer weather so we can go back and visit!
