This is a great place to visit. It's very pink. But it's cute and well designed. The service is great. The servers are attentive with making sure you have all you need. This visit was a lot longe than I wished but I ordered a croissant and they ran out. Found out about 15 minutes after placing order. They said they were baking a fresh croissant and shouldn't be much longer. It took additional 25 minutes. Yes, it was absolutely delicious just made for a long visit. (Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.) The food is delicious. I found this place once on Christmas Eve and it was a super sweet surprise. I've been back a couple more times. It is a little on the pricey side, but the coffee and food is good and add a slice of cake it's delicious. Keik Keik Keik! Went out for a little brunch date with the girlies and what better place than Keik Bakeshop! Well half of Miami had the same thought, there's of course no reservations on the weekend, so we put our name on the list and were told it would be about 15 minutes... that was a lie, but not the end of the world. The hostess was very sweet, and had a lot of people to wrangle, and many large parties that were celebrating birthdays and more. So we waited... for an hour. We finally got the long awaited text that our table was ready and rushed inside to get out of the Miami sun, where we realized the A/C was not working. The thermostat by the bathroom showed it to be 82 degrees inside! Decor is cute, kind of feels like you're inside of a pink balloon. Utensils were plated gold, and the pink straws are heart shaped, adorbs! Our server Gabriela was lovely, she was always moving around taking care of tables and checking in with us. Our orders came out relatively quickly considering how busy it was and everything was correct. The food was delicious, my girlfriends both ordered the pink latte that they said was strong, hot, and delicious. The coffees looked terrific but with that heat it was passion fruit juice for me (so good I ordered a second one to go before we left). One had the pavlova pancakes that she said were the "best pancakes [she's] ever had". My other friend had a Mediterranean bowl that was huge, and she also said it was incredibly tasty. I originally ordered the Karla salad but they only had blue cheese, Caesar, and honey mustard dressing options none of which did I think would go great with that salad so I opted for an Italian sandwich instead. I really didn't want anything hot and this was the next best thing to the salad. The burgers looked fantastic, but in that heat... pls Keik fix that A/C! The food was the highlight, my friends each ordered more food to go and from our conversations they've said it didn't disappoint either. All in all, I don't think we'll go again. The food was great, most of the staff was really friendly (the girl bussing tables looked miserable and wasn't very pleasant when she'd come by but I might not be either if I was bussing tables all day in 80 degree heat in doors). Word of advice call ahead and make sure the A/C is fixed before you go, if it's not go somewhere else. My heart goes out to the staff that was in long sleeves bustling around this tiny cramped establishment with a broken A/C. Had we been given a heads up about the A/C while waiting an hour to be seated it would have gone a long way. Or even a complimentary small glass of something cold like the passion fruit juice or frozen lemonade... something, ANYTHING. It's a beautiful place & a venue for a girls brunch or birthday celebration. The menu has brunch/breakfast items, sandwiches,: salads and burgers The pancakes are well decorated but a bit overkill. We ordered the Oreo pancakes, Keik French toast, chicken and waffles & and American breakfast. The waitress Fabiana was very nice and accommodating. I wish this place was a bit bigger as the wait was an hour long. Unfortunately the air conditioner was not working and it was a bit warm. The eggs with American were over cooked & my husband didn't like the toast. I will give this place another chance when they open the Kendall location which will be close to home. Came here with my family for lunch after seeing them being raved about on social media. The parking here can be difficult or easy depending on the time you arrive. There's self parking or valet available but the plaza is tight. The place inside is very beautiful and has a great patio area with a water view. The service is good. I had very high hopes as social media influencers talked their menu up. I was actually pretty disappointed with my entree and was preparing to leave a negative review. Then I took a bite out of one their cakes and everything changed. Here's what I tried - Chicken and waffles - waffles, fried chicken, biscoff sauce and caramel popcorn. Wish this tasted as good as it looked. The chicken seemed like it was store-bought and frozen. Very dry. The waffles were okay but the dish overall was a massive disappointment to me. It pains me to have "cheat meals" that are not worth the excessive calories. To make matters worse, this dish is very pricey. 1/5 ($18.62) I tried their chicken sliders as well, which used the same chicken but the rest of the toppings tasted better (3/5). Their tequenos, butternut squash soup, and Nutella cappuccino were all good. Here's where they really shine- their cakes (hence the name). I'm honestly not big on cakes but these are phenomenally good. They're super moist. Obviously they're indulgent but they're worth every calorie imo. Their lemon pie cake was the first I tried, I'm not big on citrus flavored sweets but I will make an exception for this masterpiece. Insanely good. Cocosette cake is also pretty good if you're into coconut. The best that I tried is definitely their Nutella and dulce de leche cake. Wow! Nutella and dulce de leche can both be overwhelming but this layer cake balances everything so nicely. Yes it's sweet but I could eat a whole one of these with no problem as part of a cheat day. Their cakes far exceeded my expectations which is why I will overlook the chicken and waffle mediocrity. Who knows? Maybe I ordered the wrong menu item and some of their entrees are actually good? I had the Rocher Toast Brioche bread slice filled with rocher cream and topped with Nutella, hazelnuts, and berries. This toast is so good I still have dreams about it. At first, it sounds like a lot but it was surprisingly not. The hazelnuts on top are the perfect touch. My siblings had their cookies and cream milkshake and a slice of chocolate cake, both of these were very rich. This is a very cute place to enjoy company and a good meal however my major complaints is the volume of the music. In my preference restaurant should have instrumental music because you are there to enjoy your meal and enjoy conversation or have a quiet meal. If I want to listen to music while I eat I can play it on my phone in my earpiece. One of the major complaints I hear but it's not voiced nearly enough from all my contacts is that nowadays we can't and enjoy a meal without music blasting in our ears. My friend and I were deciding places for brunch. I stumbled upon this charming and very pink spot in Doral. It's a rather small place. Parking: There was plenty of parking, but I can see how the parking lot can get busy on weekdays. Ambiance: The ambiance is cute with adorable decor. Music was a bit questionable at one point of our visit. It seemed a rock band was leaked in the track. Didn't fit the vibe to be honest. And not to mention that it's a really tight space and the tables really close together to others. Service: There is no hostess and with people arriving at the same time or behind you, it will be rather difficult for an employee to keep track. After about 10 minutes of waiting, we were seated. At one point during our meal, we had a plate of arugula left which we were planning on eating with our salmon toast. My friend and I counted about 2-3 times that the server asked if we were done with the plate and we politely said no. My friend and I ended up putting the arugula on her plate with food so that the empty plate can be taken away. The overall service was okay and we had to ask for water refills and the check. Please keep in mind that 18% gratuity is already added upon getting receipt. If you pay with card, they will ask for more tip as this is how the card system works. Our service that day did not merit 18% gratuity in our opinion. Food: My friend and I shared two plates as the dishes seemed pretty pricey for what it was. When our dishes came out, they were served on these cute gold plates with gold silverware. My issue is that the plates are not stable and kept swiveling. It was rather annoying to cut food to share to have the plate spin on you. Although, if you have a sweet tooth, you'll love their offerings of desserts. read more

I visited this restaurant for brunch with the ladies in my family, and it definitely has a charming ambiance with an aesthetic that makes it a delightful spot for cakes and brunch. I'd love to give it a 5-star review, but my experience was marred by a few factors. Unfortunately, the day we visited was extremely hot, and the wait time was a little over an hour since they don't take reservations. I ordered an iced coffee after the 45 min wait mark to cool down and it was a good cup of coffee. Once we were finally seated, it seemed like the AC was either broken or not set to a comfortable temperature, which detracted from the experience. Adding to the discomfort, it rained that day, so the humidity was quite oppressive. Because of the heat, I ended up changing my order and opted for a frozen margarita instead of what I originally wanted. Thankfully, the margarita was delicious--icy, refreshing, and perfect for a hot day. It was light, almost like lemonade, but it hit the spot and helped cool me down. I had planned on getting a hot latte, but given how warm it still was inside, I just couldn't. Unfortunately, I have a hard time enjoying food when I'm too hot, so I ended up taking most of my meal to go. I ordered the chicken sliders. We ordered some cake slices for the table and they were tasty and not too sweet. The appetizers--empanadas and tequeños--were very good! Despite these setbacks, the place is super cute, and I haven't seen other reviews mentioning AC issues, so it might have been a one-time problem. I'd consider giving this spot another try, but I'd probably stick to coffee and dessert next time, and wait until fall or winter, just in case. read more

I saw Keik on an influencers foodie page on IG and felt like I needed to try it! I was mainly looking forward to trying their desserts, and it's obviously a bakeshop but I also wanted to try something from their savory menu. I orders a Turkey eggs Benedict, my friend ordered a Mac & cheese with bacon, and my other friend (who is vegan) ordered a butternut squash cream soup. First off, let me mention that I love eggs Benedict. But this one here, was a solid 5/10. The taste was quite bland, the Turkey was too cold for my liking and the English muffin felt stale. The Mac & cheese was ordered with bacon, there was no bacon but the flavor wasn't bad. The butternut squash cream soup was ordered without bacon, it came with bacon and caused my friend to have a bad experience and reaction to the soup. Towards the end, we ordered the Oreo pancake. This I will give a 9/10 forsure. I'm a sweet tooth so I knew I would like this, hands down. The service was also not great. Considering that there weren't many people, our waitress always took forever to attend us. I'd say we managed to stay an extra 30 minutes combined just by waiting on our waitress. On top of that, she split our ours incorrectly which was confused, since we really didn't order much at all. The place was cute, nice, girly decor. This place is super cute for brunch but it is just as whimsical at night. The service was great. Our waiter checked up on us every so often like any great service worker should! My dad and I came here for a late night snack. We got the spinach and ricotta empanada and a slice of Buncha Crunch cake. The cake was rich and textured with delicious rice puffs that added that needed crunch to the dish. I liked how it wasn't that heavy considering it was such a rich type of dessert- almost like mousse. The empanada however, was not my favorite. It was more crunchy than pillowy and it was filled at the bottom but mostly empty crust at the top and in the middle. For a place known for its baked goods, I had higher expectations. What I took from this restaurant was that it is a place you go for celebrations and insta-worthy photo ops, not for the food itself exactly.
