Disappointing Thursday visit: The Opera cake was very dry, even being wrapped in plastic on the sides, felt like this was so stale it shouldn't have been sold The caramel mousse was ok, nothing outstanding in flavor, pretty presentation The profiterole was ok, smooth dark chocolate, choux pastry was good but you felt the salt, standard cream filling and the base was stale, no flakiness or crunch to it The plain croissant had a pretty color and shape to it, the first bite was nice, flaky and buttery in taste but the center was hollow, several layers stuck together, making a heavy almost gummy feel For the price paid very dissatisfied with the quality and freshness.

I got a mocha, the espresso was weak. But I did have a really good ham and cheese croissant as well as some sort of Nutella pastry. Service was fast and friendly. I appreciate the women holding it down! Such a nice cafe, very busy. The prices were decent and portions were big.

I love bread and pastries and was so happy when I found this shop. Very nice location with table service. We went early on a Saturday it was not busy at all. We took home a croissant bread that was still warm and it was delicious. We also got a regular bread, it was good, fresh but it was not sliced very well and had a lot of holes inside. The croissant was very good and the apple tart was delicious! What we did not like was the service. The cashier seemed unhappy to be there, we asked her questions and never got answers, started talking to someone else while helping us. I will visit again given the bread and pastries were worth it.

Wow! Me encantan los postres aquí. The classic hot latte and chocolate/caramel pastry are a powerful combination. If you like rich, bold flavors, this cafe is perfect! The pastry had the perfect mix of smooth mousse and chocolate, with a caramel/nut center. The outside had delightful crunches of quinoa-like sprinkle clusters the size of nerds. This spot is very popular in the mornings. Small groups of four can sit inside or outside at patio seating. The staff are kind, yet efficient. No necesitas hablar inglés.

Great service, pleasant ambiance, and delicious coffee & croissants! Somehow we've not noticed this little French bakery tucked into a strip mall off 36st for the five years it's been here... but suddenly we noticed it, and stopped in for a Saturday morning bite. We both had toasted croissants, deliciously combined with ham, Gratinated Cheese, Béchamel. We also had double cortados using Julius Meinl coffee. A perfect Saturday morning treat!

I stopped by for weekend brunch and was not disappointed. The eggs Benedict croissant was delicious - perfectly jammy/ runny eggs and creamy hollandaise. The croissant was also buttery/ flaky. The coffee and pastries were also great. The restaurant is a small space, but doesn't feel crowded. It was pretty busy, but the staff is super friendly. Service was quick. Location wise, I wouldn't have expected to find a bakery like this in the plaza, but it seems very popular. There was a line out the door when I left.

Amazing place! 5 stars - Solid Spot Stopped by this bakery on a whim, and I'm glad I did. Place has a chill, cozy vibe--nothing too fancy, just warm, some smooth music playing in the background, but not too noisy! Tried a few things and everything was amazing. The croissants were buttery and crisp, "la bomba" I had hit the spot, and the coffee was strong enough to wake the dead. You can tell they actually care about the food here--nothing half-assed. The service is also incredible too ! Whether you're grabbing something to go or kicking back for a bit, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back for sure!

I recently visited La Croquantine and tried a few of their pastries along with a coffee. I tried the pistachio-filled croissant because I'm a huge pistachio lover. While I appreciated the effort and flavor, it ended up being a bit too intense for my taste--the pistachio filling was a little overwhelming and overshadowed the delicate pastry itself. It might be perfect for someone who likes strong flavors, but it was a bit too much for me. As for the coffee, it was just okay. Not bad, but nothing particularly memorable either--it did the job but didn't stand out like the pastries did. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the croissants, and maybe try some of the other flavors next time. A cozy little spot with some hits and a few misses depending on your personal taste!

Last Friday we had a late breakfast or an early lunch at this delicious french place in doral. Excellent service, delicious food, nice and friendly place. Love to do it more often.

A quaint cafe located within the mini mall you'll be pleasantly surprised for a good bite and coffee. Upon arrival we were greeted by the baked goods that are on display and tempting to order. If you're dining in, feel free to go grab a seat and the wait staff will attend to you. We came for breakfast and ordered the La Croquantine omelette and Steak & Eggs. I opted for the salad rather than the French fries that come with the steak and eggs which was very good. The steak was a ribeye cooked medium which held good flavor. I recommend ordering a croissant, it was very good and soft. Baked to perfection. The ambiance was typical of a French influenced cafe located in the Doral area. Felt comfortable and gave the impression of a bakery/cafe but nothing to brag about. The service was great. The wait staff was very attentive and continued to check in frequently. Although it seemed to be a team approach as there were multiple waitresses attending multiple tables. There were moments of not sure who was responsible for our table but overall the staff was great and friendly. A surprise stop here at La Croquantine for what was a very good experience and the food was well made. Overall 4 stars

Very very slow. Things are good but service is extremely slow. I ca e in for a coffee and a baguette bread and I was waiting for about 25 min standing in line and there was just one person in front of me.

Amazing staff!!! Amazing food... it's a small Cafe with Delicious food and Amazing Looking French Desserts... we had the Turkey and Cheese Croissant and donut with pastry cream ( i forgot the actual name)... The right amount of sweetness and the Croissant was the best we ever had... and we ordered Signatura La Croquantine coffee... The person making the coffee himself asked us which cup we want the coffee in and after giving an amazing coffee.. he waited for our approval... the staff were soooo welcoming and hospitable....MUST VISIT for Amazing food!!!

Nice little French cafe. The baked goods are superb. Our visit for breakfast was delightful The breakfast we ordered, which included eggs, bacon, and a croissant was not the best. We found the entire dish for $18 overpriced. The prosciutto tomato mozzarella sandwich was great in flavor and very fulfilling. Overall the service was great. Perhaps something to check out if in the area.

This place is an absolute staple and a true hidden gem for anyone who loves a good sub. It's dangerous that it's so close to home ! What sets Hungry Bear apart is the fact that they pack their subs not just with generous amounts of meat, but with serious flavor too. Every bite hits, and it's obvious they season their ingredients with intention. Whether you go for the classic Philly or my go to, the Honey Mustard Chicken, you're getting a sandwich that's loaded and satisfying. Recently, I tried their new BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch sub and... wow. It was everything you'd want in a messy, flavor packed sandwich. Smoky, tangy, crispy, melty and just perfection in a sub roll. Speaking of rolls, the bread here deserves a whole paragraph of its own. It's always soft, fresh, and just the right texture. It holds up without being too chewy or too dry, and honestly, it makes the whole experience next level. This is a takeout spot, and trust me, it's always packed. That's how you know it's legit. While there's no indoor seating they did recently add two picnic tables outside. If the weather's nice, that's your spot. If you haven't been to Hungry Bear yet, you must go. If you've already been you must go again. Some places come and go, but Hungry Bear is the kind of classic that sticks around for a reason.

Upon arrival, it was not busy, there was one person waiting on their food, we saw that our orders on the screen, and there was only 3 orders total at the moment. However, we probably waited another 20 mins after. While we waited more people showed up, but our food was not getting done any quicker. People who ordered in person got their order first, and they came in at least 5-10 mins after we arrived. I have worked in the food industry, so I do understand that it gets busy, however when we came in time, it was announced that we were there to pick up the food. Only one employee apologized for how long it was taking. I would have thought that our food was going to be done first. The drinks were alright, we got the lemonade, and half sweet and unsweet tea. We ordered the King Club, Chicken salad Sandwich, Spicy Turkey Melt and the Max Spud. Mind you, these items were all half, so imagine waiting more than 30 mins total from the time we ordered to the time we got the food. The King club was good, the honey mustard added a nice sweetness. The Spicy Turkey melt was mid, I think it could do without the avocado. The Chicken Salad sandwich was good too, I love the little sweetness the cranberries added. The Max spud was also mid. I don't think I'm a baked potato kind of person. The vibes were like as if Panera and TooJays had a baby. Would come back for the food but service could improve.

We have eaten in Peruvian restaurants and cafes all over North America. Here, the flavors were familiar but amazingly well-executed. We had these treats: Lucuma-chocolate cheesecake -- not too sweet, either flavor/layer; this is just a smooth caramel flavor derived from the lucuma fruit plus the real chocolate layers. Lucuma milkshake -- not too sweet, just a creamy caramel-flavor profile again derived from, counterintuitively, a fruit. Arroz con leche / rice pudding -- delicious, creamy, and a little thin compared to the American counterpart (tends to be thicker consistency); this has cinnamon and a little bit of spiced orange. My wife said it reminded her of her mother's arroz con leche. Little box of alfajores -- we didn't try them yet. This place is 10/10 especially if you are a discerning Peruvian food eater.
