Needed to get a too-tall front step back to code. Olive Branch had the best price and did a great job. Putting aggregate in the concrete was a free add on after they reviewed the site more closely.

Tim and his team did a great job. I am very happy with their work. He was very responsive and his team completed the work right on schedule. His pricing was excellent compared to other quotes that I received No complaints. Would definitely recommend Olive Branch.

    Before and after 1.

I came across this company by accident and thought I'd see if I could get a quote from them. I contacted Tim from Olive Branch Services LLC and he got back to me in a timely manner. We set up a time for him to come out to my house and give me a quote of an area of my back yard that I wanted to get pavers installed. He was able to come out within a few days. Once Tim arrived he quickly surveyed the area I wanted to have pavers and gave me a reasonable quote. He then mentioned if I would be interested for him to also quote me on a drainage/French drain system. (I have known for years that I wanted/needed to do this to my property. And it was on my list of things to do). He quoted me for each individual project and for having both done at the same time, and explained the cost saving if I had both projects done at the same time. The quote was over $3000.00 less (for the pavers only) than a quote I got from a local construction company. They complete the both projects in about 2 days. Tim came out frequently to check up on the work and progress his crew was making. One of the things that I really appreciated was that they used the excess dirt/soil to regrade areas of my yard that needed it. Olive Branch Services and Tim did a great job on my pavers and my drainage system. I am very happy with Tim, his crew and the work they did. I recommend them to anyone looking to have any type of hardscaping or drainage system installed. D.

    Stone wall

Had Olive Branch out to do a rough cut stone wall and lighting around our front walk, flowerbeds and drive. The pricing was much more reasonable than any other option and I appreciated their timely responsiveness to all my questions before and during the project. The project turned out to take a-little longer than expected but the team was always keeping us informed and any additional time was entirely understandable based on simply being a bigger job than anyone expected. I will definitely be giving them more work!

    Before

I reached out to Olive Branch to fix a drainage issue in my driveway (home inspector had advised that it was sloped slightly towards the house, presenting a risk of water intrusion, and suggested re-grading it.) Tim was very responsive, talked me through options, and kindly also offered to inspect the rest of the house's exterior when he came by for an initial look. We ended up with a much less expensive solution (trench drain) which was installed promptly and done well - photos are before and immediately after the work.

The initial sales person was a classic over-seller and promised the world while simultaneously doing a very surface-level review of the situation, ultimately concluding that we were in need of an indoor water mitigation system and sump pump. The sales process was tortured, over-the-top, and ended with the classic "same-day-only discount" proposal (red flag number 1). The scheduling process and lead-up to the project was radio-silent with no preparation on what to do or what to expect from the project manager or the sales person until I reached out proactively. I had to call the morning the project was set to begin to even know if they were coming or not (red flag number 2). The project itself eventually began and within less than an hour it became obvious the source of the leak was in fact a burst pipe and not ground water coming in through the basement. I called the office and put a stop order on the work at which point they immediately became very cagey about what options were available to me and from this point on once again went radio silent (red flag number 3). Upon reaching out to the office multiple times (via both email and phone) to address the issue and seek at least a partial refund of our deposit for the issue, they took 3+ days to even respond, and when they did, claimed that despite obvious pictures pointing to the pipe being the issue, it could have been ground water at the same time and they were unable to provide any refund of any kind (red flag number 4). I get that I signed a contract. I get that they planned and scheduled the work. I also now have learned an expensive lesson about trusting my gut and being more proactive about my concerns. But they're supposed to be the experts! And the fact that they took absolutely no responsibility for having done a poor assessment of the situation up-front and then pretended like they were actually still right about it was disappointing and embarrassing. I can't in good faith recommend working with this company to anyone.

And then they kept happening, getting larger and spreading throughout the entirety of the house, and we could no longer open the doors in the basement and 1st floor on the south side of the house. Alarmed, I called a civil engineer and had an assessment done. They ascertained our house was sinking, particularly in one corner, and recommended ~30 push piers around the perimeter and up the centerline of the house... for over $100k. I literally laughed at him and asked him who he thought I was that he thought I could afford that. I called a few other places and got questionable assessments, and then I spoke with Yos from DMV. What a breath of fresh air. He was personable and honest. He recommended we get a 3rd party civil engineer to produce a report with drawings that I could use for any foundation company - even if I didn't go with DMV. We (finally, after a loooong delay on the civil engineer's part) got the report and drawings, and Yos and his team began work in early January to install ~10 helical piers on the sinking corner of the house. It was a pretty invasive project, but his team was fantastic. Fast forward 5 months and the cracks have stopped appearing, with a number of them even closing. We are very satisfied with the work DMV did for us, and are particularly pleased with their honesty. Where one company tried to sell us an overkill solution for six figures, Yos was upfront and told us what we really need - to address that affected area and revisit others if they end up being an issue - for roughly a quarter of the other company's price. That sort of honesty and pricing earns a permanent spot in my trusted contractor list.

I stand by my review. My experience with Value Dry Waterproofing was deeply disappointing and, in my opinion, professionally and ethically unacceptable. I hired Value Dry for approximately $12,000 of foundation, masonry, sill/bearing, debris-removal, and structural-support work associated with getting my house properly back onto its foundation. I paid approximately $8,000. The agreed work was not completed. The most important facts are not allegations. They come from Value Dry's own written communications. JULY 13, 2026: Value Dry President James Ketterer met with me and prepared a written agreement addressing work that still remained. JULY 14, 2026: Mr. Ketterer put the remaining work in writing, including: * Installation of two Lally columns * Removal of the existing block columns and associated debris * Patching 12 openings with block/cement * Removal of concrete debris He also wrote that Value Dry was "working to bring your project to completion as agreed to in the agreements dated 6/20 and 7/13/2026." Those are Value Dry's words. Mr. Ketterer also acknowledged in writing that Value Dry's employee had not followed the proper change-order procedure. He explained that the unforeseen work and associated costs should have been detailed in writing and presented to me for my signature before proceeding. That admission is important. During the project, demolition and foundation-related work had already occurred when I was subsequently told that another approximately $1,500 would be required to restore openings. I disputed that charge because I had not approved it beforehand and asked Value Dry to explain in writing why that work supposedly fell outside the original agreement. This is exactly why written change orders exist. A homeowner should not be placed in a position where part of the house has already been opened or demolished and only afterward be confronted with an additional charge that was never approved in advance. Value Dry's Vice President of Operations subsequently confirmed that a crew was scheduled to return on July 21 to continue the work. Then something changed. JULY 17, 2026: Before the scheduled return date arrived, Mr. Ketterer canceled Value Dry's return, stated that Value Dry would perform no additional work, and declared that the payments already received represented adequate compensation for "the work completed." Those words matter. He did not say that all agreed work had been completed. In fact, only three days earlier, Value Dry had specifically identified work that still remained and stated that it was working to bring the project to completion. That is the central contradiction Value Dry should explain. Instead, its public response attacks me personally, discusses another contractor, speculates about my motives, and characterizes my communications as "harassment." None of that answers the documents. If Value Dry is going to publicly accuse a customer of threatening its president, then it should state exactly what was allegedly said, when it was allegedly said, who witnessed it, and what contemporaneous documentation supports the accusation. Yes, the July 13 discussion became heated. I have acknowledged that. But what happened afterward is highly significant: Value Dry still memorialized an agreement, identified remaining work in writing, acknowledged a failure in its change-order process, scheduled a crew to return, and continued discussing completion of the project. That documented sequence is difficult to reconcile with the dramatic characterization Value Dry is now presenting publicly. Value Dry also suggests that I demanded work beyond its obligations. Again, its own July 14 written communication says otherwise regarding the columns, openings, demolition, and debris work that Value Dry itself specifically identified as remaining. Value Dry further claims that the amount of money it retained was "fair and reasonable." Then provide the accounting. Show: * The total amount Value Dry retained * The work actually completed * The labor attributable to that completed work * The materials attributable to that completed work * The value assigned to each completed item * The work Value Dry acknowledged remained unfinished * The value assigned to that unfinished work Calling an amount "fair and reasonable" is not the same thing as demonstrating that it was fair and reasonable. Maryland Judiciary Case Search also publicly displays numerous court case entries involving VALUE DRY LLC / Value Dry Waterproofing over a period of years. To be clear, the existence of a court case does not itself establish wrongdoing, and I am not claiming that every case was decided against Value Dry. Anyone inte

My sump pump discharged a significant amount of water, which created ice on the street during the winter and damaged my lawn. I also asked them to address a small uneven area around my sprinkler system. The team explained that they would regrade the area, use my existing soil, and plant grass seed, which I was completely comfortable with. They completed the entire project in just one day. At the end of the day, they sent photos of the finished work to the owner. Although I thought everything looked great, the owner wasn't satisfied with the appearance of the hay covering the newly seeded area. Even though installing sod was outside the original scope of work and would have been a much more expensive solution, he decided to go above and beyond. The very next day, he sent his crew back with fresh topsoil and sod at no additional cost. They added topsoil around my home to improve the grading and ensure water would drain away from the foundation. They even moved my stacked firewood, added topsoil underneath it, and carefully put everything back in place. When they finished, they watered all of the new sod, adjusted my sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage, and thoroughly cleaned up the work area. My yard honestly looks better now than it did before they started. Premium Drainage was not the cheapest quote I received, but they were also not the most expensive.
