The end of life planning with Robin at Keith and Keith was very smooth and easy. She made the process very simple and easy to understand. After losing My Father in the Fall of 2022, nothing was planned in advance. It was not something we thought about doing or even really knew was a thing. Then cancer hit and progressed rapidly. After his death, we couldn't afford a burial. After that experience, I did not want to put My Family through the same situation if something was to happen to Myself or My Partner. Keith and Keith was recommended to Me and I couldn't imagine working with anyone other than Robin through the process. She explained everything in detail and was very patient, comforting, and understanding. You can tell she truly cares about the people she works with, and enjoys the service she can provide others in a subject that most do not want to talk about. They were extremely helpful during a very stressful time. My mother died on July 2, 2024, the day after my birthday, and I had no idea how much paperwork is needed to be filled out in order to get cremated in Washington State. Keith & Keith provided services for our father, from planning to burial. Although the process was difficult, Keith & Keith made it so much easier. They were compassionate, caring, attentive, and very detail-oriented. On the sad occasion of my father passing, I could not imagine a more incredible experience than we had with Keith and Keith. From the initial online contact in the middle of the night as I felt like I needed something to do, to the immediate call first thing in the morning and an appointment within a few hours, we were passed into the caring and competent hands of John and Kathy who helped us navigate all of the details in setting a service that met what my Dad had wished for. From flowers, to obituary, to military honors, grave side service coordination and the memorial service to follow they were there every step of the way. Keith and keith are a prime example of everything wrong with the funeral industry, recently my grandparents both passed away, my grandfather who died first had prepaid for a planned funeral service to save his family time and expense, upon visiting keith and keith my grandmother and aunt were pressured by staff to pay more for services that were not in the originally planned service including repeatedly pressing for a painting to be done from a photograph. They went on to misspell his name in obituaries and online entries. Less then a month after my grandmother passed to join my grandfather and today right after christmas we recieved a crass and comercial book full of disrespectful tropes and overused quotes to help us remember my grandmother. Please avoid keith and keith so the passing of your loved one does not become a glossed over and offensively unsubtle instance of greedy buisness trying to capitalize on your grief. read more

I dealt with Keith & Keith once when my mother-in-law passed away, and it was quite an experience. Their prices much higher than industry standards, and they really give you the hard sell. They have quite a problem with the truth as well, telling different people different things as they maneuver to their own benefit, all with a large portion of smarmy fakeness. Disclaimer: I worked with Keith and Keith when my mom passed away suddenly-- we had no previously arranged funeral arrangements so all of my comments are regarding my experiences with them trying to arrange unexpected funeral services. Dealing with Keith and Keith felt more like bartering with a used car salesman than working with a supportive funeral home. When trying to make arrangements for my mom they only offered the highest priced "packages." When I expressed that I was only interested in burial services not "packages" they responded with vague answers and continued to try to sell me on the "packages" they had to offer. They only worked with me in getting services my family could actually afford when I threatened to switch to another local funeral home. There was probably a total of 15-20 telephone calls made before I felt that I was actually heard in my requests. When we worked with the funeral director he continued to refer to my mom as "mother" which was a bit alienating as I never referred to her as "mother" during my entire life. Simply saying "your mother" or by her name would have been a lot more comfortable for our family. They provided the necessary services sufficiently but the actual interactions with those who worked there were so traumatic and insensitive that it has taken years to write this review. Perhaps their business has changed since then-- I hope so for any family presently dealing with them. read more

Please do not utilize their services. You cannot relive a loved ones funeral service. They botched my Mother's funeral service to the point of complete embarrasment. They had "technical problems" and the picture slide show our family spent 2 days working on was not played at her service. On the way to her final resting place, the hearse turned the WRONG WAY! The entire procession was required to U-turn on North First Street. Don't have the experience we did. Yakima has several other options...take your business elsewhere or risk a similar experience to ours. Pass the word. Stay away from Keith and Keith. read more
