When we received our first set of photos for our cabin that was to be posted on Airbnb, they were not exactly what we were expecting. After initial conversation about redoing some of the photos, we were fearful that our concerns were not being heard. Then Kaitlyn, the main photographer and editor, went above and beyond to deliver us a product that met our needs. Smoke n Lenses photography is superb both in style and composition. Kaitlyn explained that she was initially trained in real estate photography and after discussing our needs for Airbnb photography, she was able to flawlessly capture the space in a way that guests would be able to envision themselves staying their for the holidays with their family. This was not easy. Our cabin has ALOT of wood, more than a normal cabin. Getting the right lighting, both in pre and post production is difficult. I was amazed at her superb skill to do so. Kaitlyn and Garett are budding Airbnb photographers with lots of talent and over half a decade of professional photography experience. They care deeply for their business and service to their customers. Being a business owner is tough but rewarding work. Due to weather and a family emergency, we ended up rescheduling our photo session 2 hours after we arrived to Florida from Virginia (a 16 hour drive!!) I was skeptical about how our photos would look after being in the car for that long, and because the weather ended up being windy and cold! Turns out I had nothing to fear because I absolutely LOVE how our photos came out. I don't know how Catherine did it, but somehow all 5 of us look happy, rested, and not a bit wind swept. Another thing that meant a lot to me was that Catherine was able to make the experience FUN for my 4, 2, and 10 month old children. In doing so, she was able to capture their natural happy smiles. This is a fun idea…read more Lots of fun and wild and picture worthy shots. Mini rooms set up with tripods ready for that perfect shot. My hubby liked the artistry of the wall pieces and the blend of a somewhat staged candid shot. The Rocky Mountain, the iconic Wings, wish you were here. Who doesn't love a selfie. Although there is a bit of help from light and a tripod here. ;)
