Due to weather and a family emergency, we ended up rescheduling our photo session 2 hours after we arrived to Florida from Virginia (a 16 hour drive!!) I was skeptical about how our photos would look after being in the car for that long, and because the weather ended up being windy and cold! Turns out I had nothing to fear because I absolutely LOVE how our photos came out. I don't know how Catherine did it, but somehow all 5 of us look happy, rested, and not a bit wind swept. Another thing that meant a lot to me was that Catherine was able to make the experience FUN for my 4, 2, and 10 month old children. In doing so, she was able to capture their natural happy smiles. After the session, Catherine delivered the photos within a matter of days (right before the holidays too!). I'm telling you, she is amazing. From the bickering that they did back & forth during…read morethe ceremony & reception to the lack of staging for proper capturing of a photo...the list goes on and on. Thought having 2 photographers was a positive, but it ended up that they never told people which of them was taking the photos, so you ahve a group of people looking in 2 different directions for the photo. Told them ahead of time (and showed examples) of the types of shot that we wanted and got perhaps 2 out of 10. Halfway into the reception, my new son-in-law asked me if I would just ask them to leave because they were bickering and bothering people to "pose" for photos and folks were getting annoyed. We would've been better off just handing disposable cameras to guests to take photos. Bad, bad experience.

There are 22 in our family so it was a challenge to get one of all 22 of us that looked good but they did it! In fact, we picked out 48 pictures! We had so much fun taking the pictures that a tourist stopped by to tell us he noticed how much fun we were having.
