He asked a few specific questions about the door to see if it was possible to do the install. Once it was determined it could be done, he sent me a link to the glass insert manufacturer he uses to make my choice. I contacted Chuck a couple of days later with my choice. He texted me the price of the door and his installation fee. He was able to set up an appointment the next morning for the install. He arrived on time, was polite and got right to work. They sent their installer Steve, who they recommended to us stating he does 90% of their installations, to measure all openings in our lanai for the windows we were purchasing. Ralph insisted we had to pay upfront for the windows the full price of $9500 which we did. When their installer Steve, who they recommended to us, who they were the ones who made arrangements to come to our home for all measurements, and they contacted installer when our windows came in. Their installer Steve called us to schedule installation. Steve came with two helpers on installation day. We live in an 8 story condo building. The windows were never taken out of their truck nor brought up to our second floor apartment. Steve walked into our lanai and realized the windows he brought to us were the wrong windows because they were apparently ordered incorrectly because they would not fit in all our openings. After 3-4 hours of phone calls back and forth between Steve, Ralph, and Rich the owner, all pointing fingers at one another, saying installer's measurements were wrong and installer saying they were the wrong windows ordered for these openings. After Steve left our home he called a few minutes later saying "I was told by the owner Rich to take all the windows off the truck and just leave them in front of the condo building in the front entrance and absolutely do not bring the windows back to the store." We were stunned. Numerous phone calls with Ralph, Rich and his wife Sara, begging them that mistakes happen all the time, and you have our $9500, and we never signed for these windows, accepted them, or acknowledged receiving them, and they were never brought into our home and you cannot just leave these 10 huge windows stacked in front of our building. We asked please to do the right thing, we will work this out but these windows must be removed from this condo property entrance. They refused. LIES LIES AND MORE LIES. .We have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General's office, Consumer Advocate agencies, Board of County Commissioner's Planning, Zoning and Building Dept, and also a police report has been filed.
