Contracted with this business for snow plow services for my elderly parents. The first major storm required many phone calls and texts to owner Keith Rosato before over a foot of snow was removed from their driveway and sidewalk. He had so many excuses but promised that it wouldn't happen again. The next storm saw over 14" of snow and again, I had to keep calling and texting, only to get more excuses. I told Rosato that if he couldn't honor the contract I wanted a refund. On February 17, 2022 he promised a refund via text. Today is June 16, 2022. We were supposed to go to Canandaigua Town Court tonight at 4:40pm for small claims court. At approximately 10am, Rosato showed up at our home and stuck a postal money order in the door, refunding the amount promised FOUR MONTHS AGO. He may have barely missed having a judgment in readily available public records, but I am doing this review so no one else has to have elderly parents snowbound or promises made broken. There is certain level of professionalism expected when entering a contract. There is NO professionalism with this man whatsoever. read more

Labor was overcharged and work not finished. Very hard to contact someone at the business and get any resolution.

We had a similar experience as others - Keith came right out to do estimate. He's a really nice guy, noticed a few other things that we should take care of, etc. When he left I was very positive about wanting to work with him. A week later I received the written estimate. I responded with questions and edits. I heard nothing, so after a week I sent an email asking if my questions were received - no reply. I called two days laters and reached Emily (his daughter) who told me that yes, my questions were received and Keith had them. Another week went by, no communication. I called Emily again and was told that she would let Keith know I called. At this point, and seeing other reviews, I'm moving on. Disappointing. read more

Ripped us off for 2500 , put a simple door knob on , looked at a small area on porch, no rot no new boards, nailed it easy repair, failed to repair a leaky shower head after installing many water shut offs in basement( plummer did it in 5 mins simply put a cap on it). The services provided on the first visit were very good. A couple of weeks later one of the repairs fell apart. I requested a second visit to fix the repair and contract some more work with them. Althoug I tried multiple times, Keith never responded. I had to hire someone else to fix their work. read more

By coincidence, I needed help twice within two days for different issues, and both were semi-emergencies. In the first case they came for an estimate within two hours, and then only an hour later came to do the work. In the second case, they came within 45 minutes of my call. Our experiences working with Keith Rosato owner of Finger Lakes Handyman. We had a bath remodel that needed to be done on a tight time schedule. Keith was able to install all new fixtures, drywall and handle other plumbing issues that we had and finish by our deadline. He was professional in every aspect. I live out of state and he remained in constant contact, phoning and emailing photos at every step of the remodel. The new bath was beautiful when finished. Family in state followed up with a physical inspection of the completed project. We are currently having him reroof both of our cottages and also remove rotten cedar shake siding. He is installing new cedar shakes, cleaning and staining all siding on both cottages plus painting the windows and shutters. Again staying in contact with myself or other family members as work progresses or issues arise. These cottages are over 80 years old so there of course have been surprises along the way. I feel confident recommending Keith for any home repairs that you may need. We haven't run across any repair that he hasn't been able to fix - yet. We look forward to trying to stump him with something broken that he can't repair in the future! read more

Tear up and replaced with tile my kitchen floor did not reinforce floor floor is cracked in multiple places and has not come back to fix, gutted master bathroom replace plumbing all new fixtures added a walk-in closet walk-in shower Jacuzzi tub and tiled tiles are cracked grout lines are crooked grout thickness is huge and then small Jacuzzi tub froze they were supposed to insulate did a poor job froze twice, Jacuzzi tub leaks into places had to fix he would not come and fix them told me he would come and never come very disappointed in this company.And his employees did not know how to do plumbing or electrical I as a customer had to do the electrical like I said there's two employees that were here said they didn't know how to do plumbing they were only doing what they were told to do by the owner so if it was wrong I got screwed and I got screwed now he won't come back and fix anything talk to him three times and he told me he was going to come back and never as this is very unprofessional company read more

Do not do business with this company. They came out to fix our GE dryer when the knob came off, but despite confirming the appointment they did not show up. Didn't call or let us know they wouldn't be able to make the appointment. Finally got a second appointment scheduled, and the solution was to glue gun the knob to the dryer. We waited 24 hours to put the knob back on per John's instructions, yet less than 24 hours later, the knob predictably comes off. Finally, Keith says yeah, you're probably going to need to replace the plate! Why not just do that in the first place?? Ugh!! Ended up getting charged for a repair that didn't work, with them refusing to refund the money from the failed repair. Then I go to complain and ask for my money back (which his receptionist told me Keith agreed to do before he back tracks and says he never would agree to a refund), and he starts yelling and asking me if I want his attorneys name and phone number. Just an overall awful experience with terrible customer service. Stay far, far away from this place!! read more
