I found scheduling to be reasonable/ someone does return your calls and sets up your appointment. I've found the work done to be high quality at a reasonable price. Our service person-Jesse-was amazing.... Professional, personable & proficient at finding solutions to some only issues in our older home. We are hoping to have him return soon for the next project. We needed a whole new septic system and collected quotes from several companies that our engineer recommended. We chose to go with Superior and we were not disappointed. Phil and Sean and their team were fantastic; very professional and really cared about the quality of the work. Once the system was in Sean came over on a Saturday and spent several hours distributing new top soil over the leach field, like it was his own property. We had a leak from our upstairs bathroom, and we were thinking it was going to be a big deal. We didn't know who to call. I googled local plumbers, and Superior's reviews were so good, that we made an appointment. Jake came on time, was considerate, discovered the issue (much more simple than we thought!) and that was that!! Couldn't be happier, and Superior's card is now on the refrigerator! Initial set up went very well; however, once scheduled I left work early and at my expense to meet the tech for a scheduled appointment, but he failed to arrive or call, and no call was received from the "dispatcher." After reaching the "dispatcher" she said he was on another job and suggested I call the tech directly, which I did, but had to leave a voicemail, which I did. Thirty minutes later the "dispatcher" left a voicemail to call in, and when I did so I was told no techs were available until the next morning. I dropped the service request and am looking elsewhere. read more

Not many people are blessed with 2 major plumbing catastrophes in 2 short months but these guys truly saved us on both. We had a cracked sewage pipe that was dumping all over our basement, and needed to be replaced all the way out to our street; then our hot water heater split completely open and was geysering water all over our basement. I live in Bloomfield NY. And you are correct, this is outrageous - outrageously bad service. What is even more outrageous is that you never responded to my quality compaint in the first place - forcing me to go to Yelp to get your attention. It's no wonder so many Yelp users rate you so poorly. Instead of asking me to contact you about this - you go on the attack and deny it ever happened - I honestly don't know how you stay in business. I'm so disappointed in this company! I had a problem with my shower valve. They replaced it with a $99 valve, removed the connector for my handheld shower spray, which was never replaced and I now have an incomplete job which I payed over $1000.00 for. On the advice of a friend (a retired plumber) I called Superior to deal with a slow flushing toilet, and two bathroom sinks with problem faucets. They told me that the toilet needed to be replaced, $250 if I bought it, $400+ if they bought it. The faucets were, in their opinion, beyond repair as well. The toilet's weep holes were somewhat blocked, and about 20 minutes of my time squirting calcium dissolving fluid and doing a little energetic scrubbing solved the problem; the toilet works fine now. What I found problematic is that they spent less than 20 minutes in my house, and aside from flushing the toilet, didn't touch a thing. The 'diagnostic' charge was $95 PLUS tax. $102.15. They told me that the usual fee was higher. WHAT? I've swapped out toilets before, and while it's a bit of a pain, it might take 30 minutes of your time. Called my friend back, asked about the charges, and he agreed, they were excessive. If you need a plumber, and it's not an emergency, do some homework, get some quotes, and just maybe, it's something you can fix yourself. I'm tackling the faucets next. Update - one of the faucets was EASILY fixed with the application of some WD-40 (I asked them if that would work, got an emphatic "No"....) the other one will need replacing, but I will find someone else to do that work, or I may just figure it out myself.... don't use these people. read more

Lied about pricing. We were told $350 by the manager. When the work was done we were charged $490. When I tried to dispute it the manager told the employee he quoted me $350-400 which was a lie. I would not use them again due to this. Unsure of the quality of the work since it was just done. Technician was friendly. read more
