It was Saturday evening of Memorial Day weekend when our water intake pump froze up. We took it…read moreapart to see if we could find a reset switch and could not. We called Mertec to come out and fix the pump or we were going to have to have our house full of people go home. My call was answered on the first ring by a pleasant gentleman. He asked a bunch of questions then made some suggestions as to what we might try first. We did and called him back. Based on what we told him at that point, he made some final suggestions and asked that I call him back and let him know how that worked out. We did what he said and the pump worked great. I called him back to say thank you and ask how much I owed him and he chuckled and said you don't owe me anything, but that if plumping needs arise in the future to think of him. I absolutely will look to Mertec for any future needs as well as recommend them to anyone in need. Our fix was simple for people that have some basic mechanical knowledge.
