To start with, Dr. Wallace was very responsive and able to get me in quickly. His office is less than 15 minutes from my home, on the corner of 13th & Waller (new location). After completing the standard healthcare paperwork, we talked about my issues and did a short seated spine evaluation. He assessed my range of motion and pain before I laid down on the exam table. Dr. Wallace was able to pinpoint the causes of my most recent pain, noting that my right hip was twisting opposite of my spine and my left side was compensating for the torn ACL in my right knee. The first step in healing was to get on the table to begin adjusting my spine. The exam table collapsed to allow for appropriate pressure to be applied to move things back where they belonged. It had been such a long time since my last treatment, it was evident that it would take some time and attention for my pain to be alleviated. I felt reassured and validated knowing that my back was a mess but not something that couldn't be helped.
