The skillets come out sizzling. My mushrooms and some of the sirloin where charred from the skillet being far too hot. My wife had a similiar experience with her onions being charred. I mentioned it to the server when she took away my plate and said she would mention it to the kitchen. It should have been very evident from what was left from my meal that it was unacceptable. I would have expected a follow-up from a manager or a comped dessert or something. Nope, instead we got a $100 bill. I'm just sorry to the server that it had to be reflected in the gratuity

Manager came out and spoke to us and comped several items & that was nice of him. He listened to our comments as they do seem to want to improve. IMHO they have a very, very long way to go. Bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes & coffee is about $17.00 + tax. The kids menu has two $8.00 item choices. The $3.00 coffee, sausages and the pan-fries were good. There is no "Normal" menu item of "Bacon, eggs, toast & pan-fries" listed, but possibly available à la carte for even more. Food came out fairly slowly even though it was not very busy. Will not be trying it again as the price was way too high and the quality was too low. See photo for what the $14.00 breakfast looks like (minus the two pancakes). Add coffee for a $17.00 breakfast! The feeling at our table was "Almost any other restaurant in Brandon would be considerably cheaper and better quality".

Service is still as friendly as always, and it's nice to see that the interior seems to have received an upgrade compared to many years ago when I grew up in Brandon. It's comforting to see a local spot like this stay consistent over the years. Komfort Kitchen really lives up to its name.

My husband, who works away, asked the same question and was met with being hung up on and blocked. Upon being hung up on, I explained to my husband what had previously been explained to me about this restaurant being scammed previously and how it's just easier for them to have the extra security. When I called from my own phone to place an order, I was berated about my husband asking this question and barely able to answer for myself. I informed the owner, Chris, multiple times that I wanted to just order pizza and try to diffuse the situation, however he persisted and escalated the situation. When he was finished saying his piece, he hung up on me. The entire interaction was extremely unprofessional. It's unfortunate I will no longer be able to eat locally anymore due to a lack of being able to have a conversation and human understanding with one another. Hopefully they treat their other guests with more understanding when being asked questions about unorthodox procedure. This was a very disappointing interaction.
