I had a realtor from this location solicit me from a "Make Me Move" posting on Zillow. He presented himself as an "expert in my neighborhood". I accepted his offer to send me a market analysis, that actually was nicely done. It didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, but it was organized with pretty displays. Things fell apart when I inquired about his commission. He wanted a full 6% and became argumentative and defensive when I told him I've never paid 6% in my life. He was on the verge of harassing behaviour with his emails. I spoke with his broker who confirmed "most things are negotiable in real estate". She was astonished at her agent's behavior. Furthermore, the agent was so petty, he demanded his market analysis back! Lastly, I was shocked to learn he wasn't located anywhere near my neighborhood. Very unprofessional! read more

He said he had a client interested in living in Ventura, who would come in with a cash offer, only reason I went with him, I had preferred to go with a local agent where I live, 20 miles from Calabasas. The agent took pictures with his cell, not professional pictures, when I said did not like the images and would like a professional photographer, he said there are a lot of houses that are unsold, that have professional pictures taken, not what I signed up for. When I pressed about the cash buyer, he did not exist, agent only had flippers that want to pay cash, and low ball. He sent me a DocuSign to cancel. I received a soliciting phone call, on my number that has been a the National do not call list for years, from this individual, Ed Nava, inquiring if my house was still for sale. When I informed him that my number was on a do not call list he told me I should let my phone company know. I told him he should check the list before calling me, at which point he continued to ask about my house. As I was trying to respond to him he then began to speak over me, saying, "yayayayayayaya." I would stop talking and he would stop. I would start talking again, asking who he worked for and his behavior continued. This continued until he ended the conversation with, "get that d!!k out of your a$$" and hung up. I've received hundreds of these horrible, harassing phone calls but this was by far the worst, most unprofessional call I could have ever imagined.
