I hired Jeanne Kuriyan to help me buy a house. she is highly manipulative and just wants to close a sale. she lied and told me attached to my property are pre 1907 water rights prior to purchase. she invited the seller to the property during the viewing who also lied and said the water rights were sellable at $80,000 per acre. she also told me not to believe my contractor regarding a below grade foundation and to trust her" expert" instead. she also witheld the ductwork report when I had requested the reports in their entirety up front. I realized after purchase I did not see the ductwork report that I had asked for 2 months after purchase. she forwarded it by email immediately. it was in her possession all along. she will sell you up river just to get her hands on that check. don't buy her dinner invitations and calling you friend. she is not a professional you can trust. read more

Our realtor was Silesha Montano. I didn't want post a negative review because she did help and work. But in the end turns out it's all about closing for that check for some realtors. Everyone has to work but dont bs ur clients. When buying ur first house it shouldn't be or feel like you are getting took in a advantage of, just to close on the house . So our house needed a roof done and parapets. We didn't want to close unless this was done. Silesha got her cuzins from Otero Brothers Roofing to do contract everything was in write to get done parapets roof. Once we closed I went to look at roof parapets were not done. I tried calling Silesha no answer over and over. It was her family that did the roof the least she could have done was answer. Well I got ahold of someone from Otero Brothers Roofing they told me theres nothing they can do. But Silesha got paid so it was on to next victim cause she obviously dont care about her clients. She wasn't even at our closing shows how much pride people put in to there work. It's not always about the money. Do people right like you would want do to you. And the water heater warranty was another story. If you decide to use her and need a water heater don't let her tell u the warranty well cover it. BS take a credit. We have to buy our own water heater. I'm happy with my house just looks like I'll have to pay a little out of pocket. I well not ever recommend Silesha Montano to any of my family and friends. Smiling faces is all I got to say. Do some research before picking a relator. A first house is a big purchase. read more

I am a veteran who trusted Keller Williams Santa Fe to sell our home after we had been relocated to Washington DC. We are very disappointed. After 6 months of no results, we are being held hostage by Monica McLin, Keller William's Agent and Pamela Wooley QB who refuse to let us out of our agreement and allow our home to continue to languish on the market now at 102 days. We have notified the NMREC, BBB and Attorney General. Here is our complaint overview: 1.Dishonorable Real Estate Agent acting in her own self-interest and against our will. 2.Keller-Williams management ignoring pleas for resolution. 3.Agent refuses to take house off MLS, now being devalued at 102 days on the market. 4.Personal property stolen, doors left open, utility bills skyrocketed, no preparation for showings. 5.Contract states no cost to terminate agreement, Keller-Williams is holding us hostage with an arbitrary number of $10,000 to release us and remove the MLS listing. read more

In 2015 my wife and I decided to look at some houses in the middle of some down time in the summer-but we were not really in the market but just were looking to gauge the market and were not represented at all. Lo and behold we find a house marketed by Keller Williams and it was something that a deal that was too good to pass up and we put in an offer. What is absolutely insane and loco about real estate in NM is that we learned that even though we didn't have an agent, the buyer still had to pay the full 3+3 commission-6% and all of it went to KW even though they DID NEXT TO NOTHING FOR US except assist with the counteroffer-again no buyers agent. Because of this they actually doubled their commission and made about $13K instead of $6500-what a deal for them as a bonus-again for doing almost next to nothing more. Fast forward a few years when I am trying to sell the house I was in before after renting it out for 2.5 full years to take advantage of the no capital gains 3 and 5 rule based on occupancy. I am looking to sell the house and give Carlos the opportunity but he exhibits that standard Land of Manana mentality and low balls the comps.-the price point he suggests is just over what I paid for it in 07' and that is after I have put in about $20K in major upgrades? I turn him away and rent it for 6 more months so I can put it on the market in the summer instead of the winter. I end up working with 2 other agents for 4 months and both end up being total disasters-and one was a KW agent that used to work in his office and reported to the same qualifying broker that they both report to, Jerry Garcia. I contact Carlos to see if he or another agent will work it for 2% since the agency team had made an extra $6K or more that really they do next to zero work for and I get no response. So I get in touch with Jerry and talk through it on a Thursday morning. He commits to get back with me to locate an agent at KW by the end of the week to accept. Naturally, this being the mess that is KW in this town, he never calls me back-nada/nothing. Tells me everything I need to know about KW-they talk a good game like every agency in this town (aka "We are the top agency-we deliver"-all total BS) but when push comes to shove they are slackers like every agency in the Burque. read more

Keller Williams has the worst brokers I've ever come across. I hired Evan Schuster to sell my house. After three weeks, he had done nothing. Wait, he sent me digital documents, and every single one of them was wrong. And it took 4-5 tries to get them right. My house was supposed to go on the market for $420,000 and the docs kept saying $4,020,000, among other huge discrepancies. We parted ways after a month of gross negligence. He fired me as a client because I kept insisting he do his job, meet his deadlines, and review the documents before sending them to me. Then I got mad after he wasted a month of my time. Now, selling my house with good brokers. But Keller Williams broker, Tina Robles, brought her clients for a showing. She had been told, in writing, twice that masks and gloves were mandated, in two different formats. . She had no gloves. So she told her clients they could go through my house unaccompanied. CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR! I was watching from across the street. Instead of apologizing for her gross negligence, she attacked me loudly and made her clients so uncomfortable, they would not look at the house, even when I offered to be in there with them. I told them their broker, Tina, was breaking the rules by letting them in alone, but that I was willing to be in my house with them. But with Tina yelling at me and blaming all of her faults on everybody but herself, the poor people left. Tina possibly cost me the sale of my house. Based on my experiences with Keller Williams I believe they hire racist. I experienced one agent that insisted on calling me "girl". I'm almost 40 and provided my name. What was the reason for trying to belittle me? I also had trouble trying to view a rental until I had someone of another race contact them. Once in the place I found it did not have a working fridge or stove. They refused to fix it until I again had someone of another race contact them. Additionally, they consistently came to the rental whenever they wanted without notice. I don't beleive this would have been my experience if I wasn't a person of color. read more

The agent from KWR was decidedly deceptive. Used incorrect wording to mislead clients searching listings. Manipulative tactics, so very unhappy with Keller Williams. Even if written, information is inaccurate. Check and recheck if using this firm. read more

I had to sell my father's house in Rio Rancho after he passed away in 2014. Before he passed away, my father contracted with Valerie Almanzar on the advice of a friend. He would be sorry to know that Valerie was not helpful. She found a buyer for me and I was so happy, and then suddenly she sent me a form to sign, dropping me. I do not think this Yelp review can truly do justice in describing why Jesse Baca should be your first choice when you are searching for a realtor. When I was assigned to be the personal representative for an Estate in Albuquerque, I did not know where to begin in searching for a realtor - let alone how to sell a home in another state (I live in Texas). I'm grateful my friend referred me to Jesse. I know he had other clients, but I felt like I was his only client throughout the process of selling the property. It was a blessing to have Jesse walk me through each step of the process, provide frequent updates and wise counsel, and offer creative ideas/solutions when we encountered an issue along the way. One characteristic I valued the most was his integrity. You will not regret having Jesse during your journey of selling or purchasing a home, especially during a pandemic. read more

Upon closing and funding, Keller Williams (Jerry Garcia or Jeanette Padilla), didn't help us to get the seller to honor the commitments made at the inspection. Jerry Garcia is the broker and Jeanette Padilla is the agent. The fake nice, proved phony as soon as they were paid. P.S. Their home inspection guy.... A & R home and building inspection company Ray) is not honorable or knowledgeable about houses. They signed off on the roof which leaked and caved in the ceiling, at the first major rainstorm. They don't guarantee their inspections and told me AFTER they were paid, that they don't alert clients to homes that aren't up to code. That's why I wasn't alerted that our house has no smoke, or carbon monoxide detectors, no GFCI outlets or proper ventilation in the kitchen gas stove area. All of the parties involved refuse to take responsibility or to help in repairing the damage.! read more

His knowledge of the market, neighborhoods, technology, etc., is amazing! He works 24 hours a day, which is great for us, not so great for his wife probably. read more

We decided to sell our beautiful home. We should have shopped around with agents... We Commission Keller Williams to sell our home. They promised a lot of things as part of their service. They promised a staging person they promised listing virtual reality tours, all these great things. Then when it came to the market analysis of our home they wanted to cheap sell it. The agent said he was the expert and said we needed to lower our expectations to make it more marketable. Reluctantly they listed for the price that we knew our home is worth. They said we wouldn't sell it for that price and that was a waste of time. The home was sold in three weeks however, only after several counter offers and the agent seemed to only want a quick sale. He didn't seem to have our interest at heart or want to work on our behalf. The staging person had never shown up there was always an excuse for why they hadn't gotten back to us. At closing time all of the costs were far far higher then had been quoted to us. it has now been six days since closing and still the home has not been paid off Nor has the money been put in our account. I highly recommend you look for another real estate company to list your property. read more

I had a very poor experience with Keller Wililams Realty. I don't recommend their services and be especially careful for the "teams". After spending months with no results and very few return phone calls, I decided to do a "limited Service Listing". This is where I only pay a minimal fee and I still get to list my house with the MLS. I sold my home in 30 days when I took this route. I tried to get the "team" manager to send me new comps so I could make an educated decision, but this never happened. Eek! Methinks not. Just so you buyer(s) and Seller(s) know...its up to you to educate yourself on the market and learn everything you can... Do not depend on anyone else except yourself. read more
