We chose Chrissy Mallouf to sell our home. To say we're displeased would be a complete understatement. It was a huge mistake to choose her to sell our house. She has a great presentation she puts on to become the realtor, but then is a huge let down the second she OFFICIALLY becomes your realtor. She doesn't follow through with anything previously discussed. We constantly had to contact her and her office to get any kind of updates for anything about our house. From the date that we accepted an offer to sell our home, to the day we signed we did not hear from her one time. Chrissy and her team completely botched our open house by not following through about anything we talked about. She discussed how amazing our open house would be in her presentation, yet she didn't even bother to show up to it. A random person that we had never met, nor chose to be the face to sell our home, from her company, showed up and was only there for two hours. We were misled with everything she said. In this market anyone with a pulse can sell a home and that's basically all we got by using her. We could've put a sign out front and lead a better open house then what they did and could've gotten the same results. Anytime we tried to contact her directly regarding our house she acted like it was an inconvenience for her. A realtor should feel appreciative and grateful to have the opportunity to sell your home, not entitled! When asked about the details of her listing agreement she gave generic answers and didn't send and specific details. Now we know why. She spent her time helping her BUYERS and not her SELLERS because she obviously makes her money that way, which seemed to be all she cared about. Save yourself the headache and choose a different realtor who will actually communicate with you throughout your process and value you as a customer. read more

Our limited exposure to agent Wayla Lyles is an eye opener. We contracted on a house, that she lives next door too, and is listing agent on. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism and what transpired. We signed the contract, we were provided a FedEx label by her recommended title company, I was instructed to send both Earnest money and Option money in the FedEx envelope. The money was due in the office on Tuesday, FedEx didn't deliver - BECAUSE THE ADDRESS on the label (again they provided) was incorrect! The money was delivered on Wednesday. We had an inspection on Wednesday. On Thursday we asked for an engineer report because of potential structural issues and all of a sudden we were told, we didn't have an option period because the money was not received in time!! WHAT?? If there was a problem, why would you allow the inspection to take place? We never said we wouldn't purchase the house, but then in true "UN"professional fashion Ms. Lyles, went radio silent on my realtors and stopped responding. AND THIS WOMAN was going to be my NEIGHBOR!! Who acts like that? It is so disappointing. Stay far away from this office... read more

We are selling our home FSBO. Our home was shown to a couple which came to look at it without a realtor. They put an offer in with their realtor but their realtor wants us to pay her commission. This realtor never called us or stepped foot in our home. But wants us to pay her commission. This is so wrong! So far I told her we are not paying a commission to her. DO NOT LET KELLER WILLIAMS AGENTS "HELP YOU" BUY OR SELL YOUR PROPERTY!!! In the past 6 months we made a huge mistake of having Keller Williams Agents sell 6 of our properties and sadly found out their Agents to be incompetent, had little or no knowledge of Real Estate Laws and they were greedy, only thinking of their commissions. We wanted to list our primary residence at $330,000.00 which was only $82.50 per SF but the Agent said we would be lucky to get $275,000.00 and wanted us to list it for $299,000.00; we sold our home for $309,000.00. We only reduced the price only because we had already moved to Florida. Had we been still living in Texas, I have no doubt we could've held out for a lot more. The Agent was very free with our money, wanting us to buy the buyers most of whom were 100% financed by USDA new air conditioning units even though the units were inspected and certified by a HVAC Professional to be in good working condition, new garage doors since two of them were hit by hail and had some dents on them but were perfectly functional, new gutters with some hail dents, etc. Keller Williams Agents are greedy, incompetent and their priority is to make as much commissions as quickly as possible at the expense of the home owner. We had a cash offer on our 6th home and agreed to sell it for $130,300.00. The buyer asked that we replace the roof, fix the fence that was leaning and replace 2 pieces of trim on the back-door. We replaced the roof and repaired what they asked for. They had asked to go to closing on November 26th, the day before Thanks Giving then changed their minds and wanted to close on December 1st. The buyers then refused to sign the closing documents and refused to sign the Termination Form. According to Keller Williams this was perfectly legal which I found out was not the case. A Buyer can refuse to sign the closing documents or refuse to sign the Termination Form but cannot refuse both, in essence they were given permission by Keller Williams to hold our home as a hostage. Keller Williams Agent told us that we should hire an Attorney with our own money and force the buyers to release our property. Keller Williams left us on our own to sort out the mess with these GREEDY BUYERS. After hiring an Attorney, the buyers signed the Termination Form however a few days later their Agent sent an email to Title Resources of Denton that read: "Buyer said the termination notice not effect util the Lease earnest money form completed signed by all parties." The Buyers and their so called Agent were some of the greediest, despicable people who could barely speak or write in English we had ever met. We had 2 more offers on our home but according to Title Resources of Denton we could not accept any offers since they received the above email and they advised us to get another Attorney. I sent Title Resources and Keller Williams laws that specifically stated that in cases where a buyer refuses to sign the closing documents and refuses to terminate the contract the seller has the right to terminate the contract and accept another offer but neither company would listen or help us. These buyers and their Agent held our home a hostage from November 26th to December 29th where we had to turn down several offers as neither Keller Williams nor Title Resources of Denton would allow us to proceed with the sale. I am in the process of suing Keller Williams, Title Resources, the Buyers and their Agent as well as bringing criminal charges of deceptive business practices, fraud, extortion and blackmail against them with the Denton County District Attorney's Office. Keller WIlliams DENTON Realtor Sidney Ingram Made appointment with realtor 4 hours in advance, show up to property at designated time, realtor is a no show then she calls and states she was unable to get in contact with tenant. Sidney is rude, unprofessional, and a horrible realtor. She wasted my family's time and we got to sit in traffic for an additional hour because of her. THANKS KELLER WILLIAMS DENTON! IF this is the type of realtor you want that's great, but I will NEVER use Keller Williams Denton period and I advise you to do the same. read more
