We've boarded our big black lab at Kelly's for years now. She just loves all the people here! When we pull up she gets so excited it's all I can to to not be pulled straight inside. I love that they have the different yards for the dogs according to size, and last time I picked her up from them she was playing fetch in the back. Note: Make sure that you have updated vet records for them when you drop off if your dog is new or had shots since the last visit. They also are cash only, so come prepared. read more

Kelley's Kennels is outstanding! I have been taking my dog there for about a year and a half and I couldn't be happier. Kelley does such a wonderful job of caring for her guests, that it is my dog's home away from home. She absolutely loves to go there and misses it if it's been too long. I take my dog for daycare and overnight stays. In addition to being the best Kennel around, Kelley's is the most reasonably priced. Kelley and her staff know all of the dogs individually. Does your dog like to swim? Kelley has pools for the dogs when the weather is right. Does your dog like to climb hills? Kelley has hills in the play yards. Kelley and Kelley's kennel have been nothing but amazing two our two dogs. We have been taking them there for three years. The staff is amazing and my dogs are always so happy. I use to take my one dog to a kennel in NJ and my dog would be so scared and just not want to go. Now when I drop him off he runs to the door and immediately starts playing. The pricing is perfect and Kelley's had been so much fun for our two dogs. We also have them bathed their as well. Don't go anywhere else- because this is the best in town! :) read more

Kelley's is where we take our dog to"camp" as we call it. Our Blue Lacy just loves it there and starts getting excited about a mile down the road when she recognizes where she's going. She's made a lot of friends at camp, and is always worn out from playing when we pick her up. I must note that she is always freshly bathed and powdered and with a pretty new ribbon around her neck. My little angels come home very tired after a long day of playing. They are clean. The price is amazing. The staff is very nice. I was there when a dog came to his owner hurt...the owner of the kennel took care of the vet bill and made sure this would not happen again. Our dog stayed for a 3 day weekend and bath and clean up. My dog has never looked so clean when I picked her up. She looked healthy and happy. So went on vacation got a call a several days later from the kennel saying my dog died in their care. My dad went and got my dog upon examination from the vet, he determind she caught a bacterial infection from the pen she was in at the kennel. But hey I didn't have to pay for boarding. read more

**DO NOT RECOMMEND** Dropped our dog off for a 10 day stay...When we dropped him off I asked that he be bathed, the staff advised he would be washed the day we picked him up. We called the day before pick up, just to remind them to wash him. Showed up at 11:30am to pick up our baby and was advised he had not been bathed yet. I was already there and just wanted him home. I'm concerned he was sitting in his urine his entire stay! He smelled, his hair was matted down on his back side...I was almost in tears. We also noticed he lost a considerable amount of weight while we were gone. Upon getting home he ate large amount of food. I will never use this facility again, nor will I recommend it...I take our baby to the vet next time and pay the extra $$, it will be worth it! read more

I took my dogs here because of all the outstanding reviews the place has received. It is VERY reasonably priced! My dogs seemed pretty happy when I picked them up. Kelley was very nice and was so friendly with the pups right away. You can tell she loves what she's doing. I completed a tour of this place 2 weeks ago (04/2018) and left fighting back tears. It felt like a doggy prison and our girls don't deserve that! It was extremely noisy, crowded, and chaotic and there is nothing for them to play with, inside or outside. Sara was very nice and sweet and tried her best to reassure me that they'd be fine. She even offered to send me texts and pictures as daily updates. It wasn't until the owner, Kelley, said, "They're just dogs." That I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Before that, she had laughed and said, "You're crazy. But, a good crazy." Kelley also talked negatively about other dogs and said things would be quieter once the two "Boston terrorists" were gone. She's nice enough, but I found her to be unprofessional and certainly not the "dog lover" she appears to be online. It became obvious, and rather quickly, that to Kelley- it's strictly business. Love Kelly and her staff. When I started taking my dog here as a puppy for day care, he was terrified of almost all humans and had no clue how to interact with other dogs. After just a few weeks there was a significant difference and today he is fear free. Kelley cares so much and the whole staff knew my dog by name after just a few days. We boarded our 5 year old Border Collie at Kelley's this past weekend while I was in town visiting my husband at Goodfellow. After combing through all the reviews on yelp of kennels in the area we chose her and I'm so glad we did. I always worry about leaving Ace at a kennel because he was left at a shelter at age 3 by his last owners, and I'm always afraid he's thinking the same thing is happening again. Anyways, Kelley made me completely comfortable leaving him in her care. She exudes Southern hospitality at its finest. And she asks numerous questions that let you know she really cares about your dog and their comfort/ well being. Ace seemed to enjoy his stay more than he has at any previous kennel we've tried. He left Kelley's in high spirits, whereas with other kennels he has always seemed scared when I pick him up. I 100% recommend Kelley's Kennel. read more

We had a sudden family emergency and had to travel 1500 miles one way. Since car trips stress out our pups (and us too) we decided to board them at Kelley's Kennel based on very positive reviews. When we dropped them off, everyone was very nice and attentive to our dogs. Upon our arrival 10 days later to pick them up, the pups didn't jump up and get excited when they saw us. They made a bee line for the door like we couldn't get them out of there fast enough. The staff lost the toys and bedding we brought in with them so we had to hunt the stuff down. They handed us back our empty food container but our dogs usually don't eat more than half of what we take for them so I'm curious about that. One of our dogs was 59 pounds when we dropped her off. In ten days she dropped at least 8 pounds! Not sure if she did a lot of running, didn't eat, or if it was caused by nerves. Our small dog was okay weight wise but has had diarrhea off and on since they got home. Both are acting strangely, sleeping almost constantly, and aren't playing anymore. Also, one hind paw on my big dog is raw and bloody and my small dog has a puncture wound on her face. Neither of these were brought to our attention upon pick-up. Actually, we didn't get any info about how they did other than "They'll probably be tired." Our dogs are being very clingy and are terribly afraid if we go out of sight. I don't know what the heck happened to them while they were there and I'm feeling horrible for taking them there. I hope my dogs return to normal soon. I will not be taking my dogs there again. read more

We left our dog there one night, and first of all, when I called and asked them to bathe her before we picked her up the man on the phone said "well this should be interesting." No idea what that meant, but when we picked her up, she had terrible diarrhea, and has continued to have it for the past 5 days. We finally took her to the vet today who said she has been exposed to a virus. Also, since the moment we picked her up, she crouches down when we go to pet her like she was mistreated. Kelley is a dog whisperer in my book! My husband and I don't have kids yet, so our dogs are our furry babies, I had never trusted a kennel to keep them, so this was a big step for us to leave them with Kelley. But, my husband is in the military and we were in San Angelo for only a few months, and we wanted to get out and see a little bit of Texas. So I did lots of research and saw that Kelley's Kennel had gotten great reviews. Our bigger dog, JP, is very aggressive with strangers, so that was scary in itself to leave him with someone he didn't know! Kelley was amazing with him though. I warned her in advance that he had aggressive tendencies and she was as accomodating as she could be. Our little dog, Mardi, loved socializing with the other dogs! We kenneled them there twice, had Mardi groomed several times and took both of them for nail trims regularly (which Kelley usually wouldn't let me pay for..what a sweetheart!). By the last time we took the dogs out there, Mardi ran up to Kelley like they were long lost friends, and JP didn't think twice about sniffing her down and wagging his tail. And if you knew our JP, you would know just how much of a miracle that is!! My only complaint is, I wish Kelley could have moved back to Tennessee with us so that we could take more vacations without worrying about our babies!!!
