She is also one of the best groomers I've ever left my dog with. She's super friendly and tries to make your pet feel less stressed while being there which is awesome. I came for the Iams cat food for my cats to try out. When I asked the employee if they had military discount (which I got in other Petco and Petsmart in other regions), the employee said, "Oh, no no no..." She said it like I was asking for a bj or something. I guess that Texas isn't all that patriotic or military friendly. Or at least this Petco. read more

Got my dog groomed on the 11th of December. The nicked her neck and didn't say anything to me about it. Took her again on the 23 for a wash and again nothing. Now its infected and Pussay if I could give a 0 star I would. I'm so disappointed with my visit. I've never had an experience like this before. I will look for a new groomer. read more

WOW! Nichol, the Grooming Manager at this PetCo location deserves a raise for her above and beyond level of customer service. Yesterday my husband and I found a stray puppy hanging around our front door. After alerting the local animal shelter and checking for a microchip (none found) our first stop was PetCo. As neither of us have ever personally owned a dog, we had NO CLUE where to start and seriously felt like deer in the headlights. Nichol was the first person we saw in the store and she immediately calmed us. She was extremely loving toward our new (also shocked) pup and literally gave us a checklist of items we needed and then personally walked us through the store while we bought the essentials. She highlighted brands she trusts and uses with her own dogs and just went way, way above and beyond to help us. We were desperate to get this pup cleaned up and Nichol walked us through the process and even scheduled a nail trim for us the next morning as it was already evening time. We are so, so grateful to Nichol for her help and patience in a serious time of shock for our little family. PetCo, if there is anything you can do to maintain Nichol as a model employee, please consider it! She is a gem. read more

My fur child loves coming here! It's great to be able to take her inside and the staff are great and helpful. I took my fur child through there puppy/adult training class. Becca her trainer was wonderful and really did and amazing job! She still loves to see my little fur child when we go in. They have some pretty decent deals if you have their Petco card. Normally we go for the dog cookie bar ( which is the only one around that I've found) and the 2 for $5.00 squeeky toys. I've never had bad service. read more

My Dad had a stroke over a month ago and has to use a walker to get around now. When he went into Petco to get some items for his dogs an employee met him at the door and offered to take his shopping list to get the items for him. He was able to stay at the front of the store while they quickly retrieved the items my dad needed. After checking out, the cashier even helped my dad get the items to his truck. I very much appreciate the excellent customer service provided. read more

I love the groomers at Petco in San Angelo Tx especially Maddi who has been doing my two bichons for several years. Holly and Jimi are getting older now and they tire easily but Maddi is so good with them and when she is working on legs and Jimi wants to lay down, she switches and clips toenails and buffs while he rest for a while. The fish are always sick the prices are higher then petsmart and the manager in charge of fish is rude.

After my dog had an allergic reaction to spray used by groomers, I had to spend about 500$ on vet bills. The manager contacted me and didn't offer any sort of refund or future discount. I won't be returning read more

I love this store! I have only had pets for a few months, this store has answered many questions and helped with the well being of both my dogs. It has always had a pleasant odor, which I cannot say about all pet stores. I take my dogs regularly just to walk around and help socialize my puppy. It is apparent the staff enjoys working around animals. read more

The staff here remember us and our dogs! They gave great suggestions when we were having trouble with our pup getting out of then chewing up her collar. Every time she comes in with us they check to see if she's still wearing the same collar! They sold us some stuff to keep her from chewing on it. Works like a charm! And dhe adores the staff there! This was our first time that we have done a dog training class at all. I found our trainer, Nolan, was very good with all the dogs. And, I am still amazed at how well our dog responds when we tell him to "sit" and "stay" until he is told to "come". Thank you, Petco, for a job well done! read more
