Their agent, Katherine…read moreMcGathey, refused to allow us to speak to the manager, Simo Najib, after many failed requests due to her failing to fix an error that could've led to my husband being arrested for having the wrong vehicle on his insurance policy. An admitted error on their part, that they charged us for and refused to refund. Rather than take accountability and professionally assist my husband, she makes allegations that he was threatening her despite cameras being in the office to prove otherwise. My husband had to call the police to protect himself the moment she began acting as if she was in danger. Rather than conduct a thorough investigation, my husband was asked to leave the premises and informed he was banned from the premises. In order to remain compliant, he left because we all know what happens to a black man when a white woman speaks to the cops in tears. Despite our best efforts to file a complaint with State Farm, we receive a notice on 12/14 informing us that we were banned from all State Farm Offices. Additionally, we receive new policy cards dated 12/6 (date of incident) and another letter of due payment for 12/28. Please explain how someone who felt threatened managed to still process a new policy for someone banned and is expecting payment. To be honest, at the time I was resistant and had every intention of canceling my policy. However, Amy reached out to me and heard my concerns and committed to earning and keeping my business. To be honest, that's exactly what she's done. She's a broker. This means that she represents multiple agencies and works to get you with the one that will best meet your needs. When I first started with her, I was with a different agency that decided to get out of personal lines. We got with a different agency and I likely ended up with better coverage for the same price. I've not had a claim since she's been serving my insurance needs, but anytime I've had a question, concern, or problem she's responded in a timely manner and gotten a quick and easy resolution. There were a couple hiccups when I transitioned to a new company, but she worked through them and made sure everything was good and I was protected. She's friendly, attentive, and responds quickly. She makes recommendations, but she's not constantly trying to sell things and she has a nice balance so she's never intrusive. I'm admittedly a fairly stable customer. While prices matter to me, I tend to be fairly stable and don't tend to shop around a lot. I also pay my bills on time. I'm probably someone who is most concerned about customer service and Amy has been top-notch from day one and has done what it takes to earn and keep my business. I'd definitely recommend her and/or her agency - she offers home/rental, life, auto, motorcycle, umbrella insurance, RV, and Boat/Watercraft.
