Services provided by Nina were overpriced & time consuming. Lost months working with these people. I sent RFQ in Oct 2020 for three years of tax business & my returns didn't get completed until mid April 2021. At this point I decided to take my business elsewhere because I needed the money urgently for family matters. I went to H&R block and they offered to beat her pricing, met with me in person the next day after having phone discussion, & got the same work completed Nina quoted me done in ONE DAY. Initially my communications explaining the details related to my tax situation were with Nina exclusively. Shortly after getting my commitment for business she became completely detached from the conversation, & handed me off to her assistant who seemed overworked & short in her communications. It was quite difficult having to re-explain the same details to the two of them who never seemed to be on the same page on matters pertaining to my tax situation. Nina's team never offered to meet in person & by the time they finally got everything completed I had moved onto someone else. After having not filed the taxes she sent me an invoice saying I was 60 days late on pmt, and then sent emails with threatening undertones of lawsuits to get paid for the low quality work & insulted my character. read more

And there I was...typing 'best CPA in Indiana' into the Google search bar and combing through the results. Admittedly, it didn't take long before I landed on NSO and Company's website. Just by looking at their website, I was SOLD. I'm a firm believer that the effort a business puts into their web presence is directly indicative of the effort they put into working with their clients. I loved the transparency of pricing guidelines on their website and I loved how Nina chooses to brand herself. Within the first 5 minutes of my New Client Consultation, Nina had answered the main question that I had for her. For the rest of my consultation with Nina, she answered all of my other questions and patiently waited while I gathered my thoughts. I loved how personable she was and how she allowed me to guide the consultation to my needs. Even though some of the topics we discussed don't pertain to me at this point in time, she still took the time to thoroughly explain them to me so that I'll be ready to cross those bridges when I get to them. Listen, I saw all of her 5-star reviews and thought to myself 'There's no way. Who can be this amazing?' But I decided that from the website to my phone call with Jennifer to schedule my consultation, it was worth a shot to see for myself. I chose to travel 30 miles to Nina rather than 5 miles to a local (to me) CPA and I'm so damn happy that I did! I went into the consultation with the notion that I'd gather some tips and tricks to help myself do my own taxes but I would literally have Nina do my taxes for me just because she provides such an awesome experience. I reached out to this office to handle years that needed to be done and had a consultation with a rep who advised my case was easy and if I paid the $2500 up front the remaining would be returned, I filled out my poa, turned over the documents they asked me to fill out and uploaded the paperwork they asked. After months of getting the run around after 7 months the owner Nina says she is going to send me the years to send in to the irs, does years I never asked her to do, refuses to meet to go over how she was charging me another 4k, tells me every time I checked on the status of my case they were charging me, without communicating with me any discrepencies says it was the irs having issus when they never communicated this before, refuses to meet with me when I ask to discuss how this all happened as I was checking om the status as the months went along, refuses to turn in the years I paid for,and says they had other overseas clients they gave attention to. I have no communication that they needed anything from me as we went along. In fact I confirmed this with her staff member who claimed they were just waiting for the owner Nina. Nothing could express how unprofessional and how much I regret reaching out to this firm. My husband and I decided to step out and try someone else to prepare our taxes. We figured, our situation has become a little more complex and we should use a "better" service than turbo tax to maximize on our opportunity for returns. Honestly this has been the worst experience we have had. We are newly married so there are a lot of things we do not understand about taxes and when we would ask questions we recieved a sarcastic email back. We would also email questions that we deemed as important so we could keep the process of getting our money going and half of the time it would be a day or two before we got a response.
