After a couple months, I asked her why we gave opposing council all the paperwork they wanted but yet we got nothing in return. Turns out, Britt had received paperwork but never made sure that I got it . The biggest problem I had was when my ex-husband changed his mind and wanted half of everything I owned and made. I told Britt that we needed to fight for my rights, especially since he used me to become US citizen. Britt told me that I just needed to give him everything he wanted. In our last conversation, I gave her several reasons we needed to fight, but she just said to give up now. I was angry and got another lawyer. Michael Brewer from Koenig Dunne took my case. He wrote a letter to opposing council explaining how my ex had used me for citizenship. My ex immediately backed down and we settled right away. I literally saved tens on thousands of dollars by switching lawyers. Britt is young and I believe she has room to grow. But for now, I'd choose Koenig Dunne any day over Lustgarten Dudzinski.

As some may know when it comes to immigration issues (renewal) there is a time limit. Things need to be done before an expiration date. The case was not started, ZERO communication about anything at all. The only time they talked was when we had to set up a meeting to get any answers. At the first meeting (we asked for ) 6 plus weeks later, they tried to up the price. When asked why it was above the original pricing instead of any valid reason Daniel brought up the bills for the law firm such as rent, water, lights. WE asked to speak to Jason as he was the one who told us the agreed amount price and were told he was unavailable. Mind you this was 6 weeks after we paid 2,000 dollars nothing on the case was started. WE even made a monthly payment in that time span and nothing was started. We asked for a refund as we were being taken advantage of, during this process we asked for a piece of paper stating the case was closed . DANIEL said word of mouth was okay? WE knew this wasn't correct so wrote out our own termination later and Daniel signed. Just to find out days later When we called, Daniel never communicated that the termination was complete. We were asked to send a termination text and I responded with a photo of signed paper . Stephanie then said " it didn't say this was completed". POOR COMMUNICATION not just with clients but within the firm. When it came to the refund of the check we asked if it was mailed out or ready to pick up (as requested) and was told by Stephanie there was no update and it was not ready. We then called Daniel moments later to be told the check was sent out. POOR COMMUNICATION WITHIN THE FIRM. And of course they charged $500 for the things they did on this unstarted case. I suggest going literally anywhere else and not letting these people take advantage of you or your family in time of need! They know youre circumstances and feed off the fact that you need help. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I called the office and told the receptionist that I received an approval for one part but not the other (I also checked online and It would only show me the Daca approval update) and usually the card gets sent pretty quick after approval so I was concerned since my job is requesting it and she INSTANTLY says that there's nothing they can do and I just have to wait. I was about to hang up the call and take her answer but then I asked if she could check my file to see if they don't have any other paperwork received... Puts me on hold for some time and it turns out THEY HAD MY WORK PERMIT! Then the lady who's in charged of work permits stated that she called me once already on the 25th of anpril and left a VM which I do not have! I always listen to my voicemails. She proceeded to tell me they already did their part and her calling me was a COURTESY. Like be so Fr, it's your job not a courtesy.. It's crazy to think I couldn't get another call or a postcard sent to me. I paid a lot of money to make sure your office helps me get my work permit... It hurts to know they make the bare minimum effort in helping people who work so hard to make sure everything goes right. I wouldn't blame them if it didn't come on time but their attitude and the fact the receptionist wasn't even going to check anything just shows this is just about the money.
