This was the day after my purchase and before the mattress was delivered. The 5 star still goes to the sales clerk who is not responsible for the defective/used product I recieved. Upon delivery there was a large hump/wrinkle on one side of the bed which I assumed was due to sitting on it's side in the warehouse or truck. I expected it to settle in a day or two. Not so. I contacted the store with several pictures and was referred to a regional manager who offered me a small discount if I would accept a new bed in exchange for the one I purchased. I declined, as I had lost faith in a store that would sell a defective product. THIS IS THE BUYER BEWARE PART. A consumer cannot recover the $79 delivery fee or the $149 restocking fee if you return a mattress EVEN IF ITS DEFECTIVE. I ate that fee as Mattress Firm would have charged me a FEE for an inspector to come to my home to determine if it was indeed defective. This decision was made after looking at Consumer Reports on how buyers get little or no satisfaction regarding issues with mattress companies and inspectors. If I had to do it all over again, I would have refused the mattress, but based on my experience, I would probably have still been charged the delivery and restocking fee.

The promo they had running left Turner's paying the sales tax. Our sales associate, Jamie Ogden, was helpful and ran back and forth to find out if we could get the model we wanted in time. His manager was able to make things happen and get it shipped to us by Thursday (4 days from time of purchase). The store closes at 6 pm on Sunday, but Jamie and his associates stayed with us until the sale was final at 6:40 pm ET with smiles on their faces.

The piece was damaged when I received it. I was told it would be replaced but wasn't. I did have someone come to replace my new ottoman that had a tip upon arrival, with a used ottoman that was in worse shape and smelled horrible. It was delivered out the back of a dirty SUV blaring loud music at 10pm. I had multiple issues with trying to get pieces replaced or returned. Many times the showroom blamed the delivery driver which I knew wasn't true because I was in communication with the delivery driver. They also charge the delivery drivers time for returns so the mistakes of the sales get passed off to the drivers in pay. The bed was never even delivered as it had not come when expected so I cancelled delivery and had to go through my credit card company to get refunded. I never imagined that after purchasing furniture I would spend nearly half a year trying to get it right. I eventually gave up as it was so frustrating and gave the sectional away to a college student.

I have been dealing with guardian protection products for almost 3 months now. They are the worst furniture insurance company on the market, as their BBB reviews reflect a bunch of complaints and 1 star reviews. Yet I purchased this insurance as an Ashley's sales rep said it was worth it---it was almost $500. I know many other customers have had similar issues with this insurance company. So I invite others to leave a review on Ashley's Yelp page and Google...since they've left customers to fend for themselves with this predatory insurance company. And in case you want to know what this insurance company does---it uses battle of attrition tactics. For example, it delays answering you via their portal, they send out kind technicians but it's done repeatedly, as they rewrite their reports (my technician who was an honest worker, stated the wine stain on my couch was unremovable---yet GPP rewrote his report as him being successful in cleaning...which is exactly what the technician warned me they would do as he is a third party in all of this). They wear you down in the hopes that you just give up on getting store credit or a replacement furniture piece...which is what their insurance promised. To conclude, Ashley's furniture please stop doing business with an insurance company like this, or at least address the issue with GPP...otherwise you're going to continue to get complaints.

"Great online Experience, But Shipping Was a Nightmare"…read more My experience with Ashley Furniture was fantastic when making my purchase--and the process was smooth. However, the shipping experience has been a disaster. I ordered my furniture well in advance of moving into my new home, but the delivery process has been nothing short of frustrating. Please note that Ashley Furniture exclusively uses FedEx for shipping, and unfortunately, FedEx has been incredibly unreliable. Over the past five days, I've been given the runaround about my package's status. Tracking updates alternate between "It will be delivered today" to "We'll contact you with a delivery date," only to hear "We don't know why it hasn't been delivered because it's on the truck." Even Ashley Furniture admitted they are reliant on what FedEx tells them. Apparently, if a package doesn't move for six days, you can file a claim--but why wait that long when it's clear there's an issue? This level of service is unacceptable, and I've read similar complaints from others. If FedEx is consistently failing, why continue to use them as your shipping carrier? This experience has left me incredibly disappointed, and I will not be purchasing from Ashley Furniture--or any company that uses FedEx--again.

He never pushed a mattress on me. After looking at 4 seely mattress I decided on one. He explained he had to order it on Mondays. Earliest delivery was June 15. No issues. Everything had just opened back up from the virus. He made the whole process an easy purchase. He called and we scheduled delivery for June 5. (10 days early.) The guys came took away old mattress brought new one in with no issues. All under 15 minutes. They were on time too. They both were clean and very polite. Great experience. Recommend this store.
