I've never been more disappointed in a shop. I was told to bring an item in at a specific time in the afternoon. They were sent pictures and measurements. The movers arrive and they are told that the item can't be unloaded because Pop's Attic no longer had room for the item that I was told only the day before to bring. Then they called me and I was told that the piece was damaged. It was NOT. It was in excellent condition. I used to love visiting the shop because it made me smile. I will NEVER go back in there and my 3500 Facebook followers will be reminded every week how deplorable I was treated. Shame on you. Shame. Shame. read more

Got the first check yesterday by snail mail. Was contacted today and told that the final check could be hand delivered tomorrow. Told them not necessary, just mail it. If I receive it by Friday, I retract my previous review and would give them 3 stars instead of 1. It should not take almost 3 months to receive payment upon sale. We were told it could take up to 30 + days from sale to receive payment. We were told that the three pieces that were consigned sold at different times thus the extended time frame for payment. I just checked this establishment out for the first time and got 4 pieces, two dressers and two nightstands for under $700. One was Ethan Allen which can retail up to $2000. The staff was very helpful and they have quite a nice collection of consigned furtniture and other home decor. The consigned receive half if/when their items sell. For the buyers you have to pay separately for delivery, but the staff arranges it for you. I will update my review after that portion of the process is complete. My husband and I left feeling very accomplished. No complaints about the delivery process either. The mover reached out to my husband via cell phone and within 20 minutes had all our pieces moved in. They quoted as $100 for delivery and move-in at the establishment so that's exactly what was charged/we paid. Pleased with the service from start to finish. read more

Note, wanted to add an update to my review. Recently purchased an item and in my haste (was on the way to another place). Got home and realized the item was caked with dust. My bad though for not realizing what I thought was the coloring of the item was really dust! I would think that even though there are many items in the store, someone should at least be able to keep the items dusted for the customers. Disappointed!!! read more

Everything I see here is clean and polished. I love how much dedication the staff take to clean and restore the pieces to their original state. It doesn't surprise me that they have things I love with "sold" signs on them already. I feel like you need to be checking in early to get what you are particularly looking for otherwise, it's gone! SUPER prices on consignment home interior furnishings and decor. I cannot stress enough the excellent value that can be obtained here. As I walked through the multiple showroom areas of Pop's Attic, I was blown away by the high quality of the inventory. They only carry quality crafted furniture and such so the low prices easily beat chain stores selling particle board junk for much more money! They even have full mock-up dining room, bedroom, office, etc., each beautifully staged in it's own room. It is much larger inside than it looks from the outside. If they are selling your items, beware. I took a couple of items in and they told me they weren't interested and said they would donate them for me. I went back a week later and found both items on the floor for sale! I asked about it and was told that I would get credit when they sold. How? They weren't part of my contract, so a week later how would they even know who brought the items in? This is just plain dishonest. You must continually follow up on your items to see if they have sold, because they don't appear to. read more

Pop's is the greatest! I have bought numerous pieces from Pop's, for my retail space and even for my home. I buy a quality piece of furniture and either take it to get recovered, paint and repurpose it myself, or even just leave it "as is". Read the fine print on their contract. We had to ask if our goods were sold, we never got notification and you will not see your money for 30 days after the sale. You will be charged for pick up. Keep all receipts and record what the agreed sale price of your item(s) will be. I would not feel comfortable doing business with them again. read more

The inventory is hit or miss, but what can you expect from a thrift store. That being said, the quality is fantastic. I'm not a thrift store person, but I got a lot of furniture from them! Definitely worth checking out!! read more

As a consignment shop, they have an eclectic and changing inventory every week. They are pretty reasonable on price and is a good place for the budget-minded and students to pick up some furniture. With the local Goodwills being "for-profit", Pops is fairly competitive. They also have contacts with people who do small deliveries. We have bought a couple of things through them and we're satisfied with the service and the process. read more
