Let me begin by saying I HATE dentist visits. In fact, I may have a bit of PTSD from my previous experiences. Had all my appointments been here, I don't think I would view dentist appointments any differently than haircuts or massages - yea, they are that good. The hygienist (Carrie) has a gentle touch and cleaned my neglected teeth without any pain or discomfort. Dr Akeel gave me a thorough exam and said, 'see you in six months.' You know what? He will. Everything went smoothly, from check in to new patient paperwork to cleaning and X-rays. The hygienist was a superstar, dealing with a couple of areas that were hard to clean in my small mouth. Dr Buckwalter was great and went over everything you'd expect as a new patient. Administratively it was all very organized at check out (they bill your insurance) and now I'm all set for another cleaning in 6 months!

This dentist quoted me for 10 fillings which seemed high so I went and got a second opinion. Second opinion told me I only needed 3 fillings and to watch 3 other spots. The front office and hygienists were very kind but the Doctor was very obviously trying to take advantage of my desire to get my dental health in order to make a bigger check.
