Our technician was professional, friendly and knowledgable. He recommended repairs and service on initial visit. They did have to order parts but they arrived with a day or two and all service was done quickly. It's been 3 months now and our HVAC has been working perfectly over these hot months. The value was very reasonable and absolutely worth the price knowing they did it right. We'll to use Fixed Right and highly recommend them to anyone wanting it fixed right the first time.

In 2026. I contacted T&T for a new estimate since I knew it would be higher due to the cost of everything being increased. For the past three months I have been trying to obtain the new estimate. I was asked to forward the old estimate because they could not locate what I was previously given. I was told to check spam for an estimate that was never sent. Then they were contacting the City of Gaithersburg to obtain the electrical permit. After calling every day for the last two weeks for the status of the permit from the City of Gaithersburg, the owner finally admitted he could not do the job. Why was this not communicated when I called in May. I am disappointed with the run around. This was very unprofessional. I decided to return since they replaced my AC unit and had already provided an estimate for the electrical replacement. In 2024, they were very responsive but not that way in 2026.

I needed a new furnace and I wanted a UV system on top. as long as I was getting that work done, I asked if it would be possible to save money by doing a new condenser coil now, since that sits atop the furnace/blower stack. But I said several times I only wanted that if it was compatible with my current AC system, AND would still work for a new system when I replaced the aging AC unit next year. He said absolutely. He did the install, told me everything was complete, took payment and left. I called him up and asked why I couldn't seem to locate the UV system I had paid for. "Sorry. I forgot about the UV. I will come back and install it in a week or two." This did not inspire confidence, but I figured maybe it's an honest mistake. He didn't mean to lie about finishing the work, he just forgot. Later that winter my gas goes out and when the utility guy came out to fix it he said the issue was that the spot where the line goes into my house had iced over, and whoever had installed my furnace had failed to but the cover back over this thing. I don't know what kinda cover he meant, but I've lived here 7 years and had much icier winters, so I believe there must have been a cover that was missing if this comparatively mild winter had frozen my natural gas line. BG&E (my utility company), had to dig under my AC unit and replace a whole section of gas line as a result. A few more months go by and its hot outside now. My AC doesn't work, and I'm assuming it's because it sprung a leak when BG&E was digging underneath it, but it's very old and I was assuming I'd need to replace it soon. Given all that has happened up to this point I am not sure if T&T is the best service to call, but they did give me a quote that was $100 lower than anyone else when I was shopping around to get a new furnace, and I want to at least get a quote from them. I leave a message saying I need a quote for a new AC system, That's the whole message. NO RESPONSE I text the text service and I am assured I someone will get in touch with me soon by the AI who texts me in response (while pretending to be a real person, which is a pet peeve of mine, but fine.). That was Friday afternoon, and when I don't hear back all weekend, despite the AI telling me they did weekend calls, I am disappointed but not surprised, I am surprised they don't get back to me by Monday afternoon. I call again, and interact with the text AI again, but to no avail. That was a week and a half ago, I don't think I'll be hearing back from them ever. I am in the process of gathering other quotes when someone tells me it's a shame I will have to replace the condenser coil. I don't believe them because this guy assured me new AC systems would be compatible, so I look up the specs on this condenser coil I had installed 8 months ago. Nope, not compatible with new systems. He lied to my face. I AM LIVID! This might not be a per-meditated scam, he might just be really bad at his job. Forgetting what he charged for and needs to actually install. Forgetting to put things back together correctly so they don't ice over and break. Forgetting what kinds of condenser coils are compatible with what systems and confidently insisting that everything is fine even when I ask multiple times. At the end of the day it doesn't matter. I should have gone with a higher quote from a more expensive HVAC installer who would do things correctly and answer my questions honestly.

We reached out to this company based on the referral of someone who I know and trust. One of the owners came out and did an overview and explained our options and provided estimates for each of them. She explained how the process would work. Their company handles every aspect of the process. They handle obtaining the permits, scheduling all inspections, and and they have all of the necessary trades people on their staff, with the exception of the company that had to drill for the propane lines. First, let me say how amazing the installation team was. Dave - Lead Electrician Dave was fantastic. He had to move some furniture to access the electric panel inside, but he did so would care and made sure to put everything back just as it was originally. He was very knowledgeable and personable, as well. Nick - Electrician Nick was fantastic. I had a bunch of questions when he arrived, and he patiently answered all of them. Pat - Gas Fitter Pat had to come out several times because we had issues with the county inspections and he was the one who resolved them. He was efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Tyler & Mike S. - Helpers On the day of install, Tyler and Mike were part of the team and they were pitching in and helping everybody with whatever was necessary. They were one of the first to arrive and when I went out to greet them, they were very polite and friendly and helped to explain what I could expect over the course of the day. Everybody was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They were also very respectful of our property. The company that was used to drill and run the propane lines, also very professional and respectful of our property. I truly appreciated the fact that this company handles all aspects of the process, from providing the estimate, up until installation and final inspection. I also found the price to be very fair. With that being said, I found communication between the different people that I dealt with to be lacking. I had to be incredibly proactive and basically act as my own project manager. That is not to say that the entire staff wasn't friendly and professional. They were. However, I appreciate and expect a more proactive communication style and I just didn't feel that I got that. I do realize that a process like this has a lot of moving parts and that I was not their only customer. With that being said, I would still recommend this company to anyone who is looking to install a whole house generator. They were professional and did handle all aspects of the process so I wasn't having to coordinate gas fitters, electricians, handling, county inspections, etc. The owners, Mike and Sarah, are both very nice. Mike came out after the install to do the overview and initial start up. He was also just out to install the fuel tank monitors. If you are looking to get a standby generator, I would definitely give them a call.

I purchased a new 27kW whole-home generator in June for more than $21,000 and pay another $41/month for monitoring and maintenance. Since installation, the generator has gone down THREE times and has spent more time inoperable than I ever expected from a brand-new system. What makes this worse is the customer service. The system is advertised as having 24/7 monitoring, yet I have repeatedly been the one calling THEM to find out why my generator is down. On multiple occasions, the person answering the phone either had no information or told me someone would call me back. Those callbacks routinely never happened. During the latest issue, their technician suspected a gas problem and told me Generac would coordinate with the gas company and let me know when they were coming. A week went by with no communication. When I finally called Generac, they suggested that I contact the gas company myself. So after spending over $21,000, I'm now coordinating my own troubleshooting. When the gas technician came out, he determined that Generac had installed the WRONG GAS REGULATOR and said it needed to be replaced. I called Generac while the technician was standing there so he could explain the issue directly. Their representative took notes and said she would pass everything to the service team. Two days later--nothing. I called again, and the representative couldn't even find the notes from the conversation with the gas technician. She said she would manually write everything down and put it on the service team's desk. I specifically asked for a status call the following day. Again--nothing. Equipment can malfunction. I understand that. What I cannot accept is a brand-new $21,000+ generator failing three times, an apparent installation error, advertised monitoring that hasn't resulted in proactive service, repeated promises of callbacks that never happen, and me having to coordinate between Generac and the gas company myself. I purchased a whole-home generator for reliability and peace of mind. Instead, this experience has created frustration and left me questioning whether I can depend on the generator when I actually need it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Generac of Annapolis. For the amount of money these systems cost, customers should expect far better installation quality, communication, accountability, and service.

Two young and knowledgeable techs showed up on time to fix the dishwasher. Which of course was no…read morelonger malfunctioning. They determined that water had leaked and gotten a sensor wet, checked all the connections, ran a partial cycle, and repositioned the unit slightly to help prevent any future leaking. They then routed the drain line more efficiently and even corrected a small water filter leak they noticed while putting items back under the sink. We will definitely use Appliance Guys again if needed.
