Mid Atlantic Outdoor Equipment is a great company they have repaired my 20 plus years Kubota tractor now twice, in the last five years. I brought my Cub Cadet lawn tractor in for starting issues. It was less than a year old. They did thorough testing and determined it was a bad battery which was out of its three month warranty period. Not only did they not charge for diagnosing, they told me how to convert my battery area to accept a bigger and better battery. AND gave me the part numbers and website where to get them. Great place to get service and buy equipment, I bought a Mower!! The last one i purchased at a box store and was disappointed in, after talking to Jason his first question was how big is my yard apparently the mower i bought 3 years ago was to small for what i was trying to do the expertise was a welcome change form my previous experience. They fixed my old mower and i sold it and i have been so happy with my new one. They also sell battery tools here i bought a new Makita Saw last week on his advice definitely great to have some with knowledge to ask about these things and the price was the same as Depot! read more

Wow-what a change! Under new service management! A couple of years ago, I purchased two Cub Cadet RZT mowers here. One for me, one for a neighbor. The prior manager/owner was overworked, and while a nice guy, his customer service was a tad slow. It might be days before he got back to you. This winter, I had both mowers in for a recall service as well as the annual pre-season service. I expected the mowers would be down there all winter. :) The pickup was done by the new service manager, a very nice young man, the same day I called! He talked to me about my mower, went over it with me and I pointed out a missing trim bolt and indicated the loose hitch bolts which were not bolts but were just metal tap bolts, without nuts. He said he'd take care of that too. Which he did. Now here is the exceptional service. My neighbor's mower battery was dead, so we got a new battery dropped it in and nada! No solenoid click, nothing. We called Mid-Atlantic, I told him the problem and symptoms, and what I did, and I asked for suggestions. He knew we had two mowers of the same model. He told me that I could pull the pushbutton ignition module from the working mower and swap them to see if that solved the problem. Most places will not do this, because they want the business, but he did. He told me how to get it out without dismantling the fender as well. I went to my house, pulled the module, swapped it out, and her mower fired right up, indicating of course that the other module was bad. I called back to indicate the good news and see about obtaining a new module and having it mailed out if he had one, or I could drive down to get it. The mower was still under warranty, BUT... he said he'd bring it out and swap it out for my neighbor if I wasn't able to be there. Who does this anymore? Seriously, I haven't seen this type of service in years, and the bill? Zero! Just great customer service and taking care of one of his customers. Very pleased with the changes, also as Cub Cadet Dealer, very pleased with Zero Turn RZT42 with that EFI engine too. I highly recommend Mid Atlantic Outdoor Equipment, especially with its customer service and changes to the service/repair aspect. read more
