I am in chronic pain with my shoulder and found Kelly Her Acupuncture I was so impressed with her website I felt I finally found someone who would listen and really cared. Boy was I wrong I was so rushed at my appointment, I filled out all the paperwork that was asked of me, I thought we would go over everything in my first visit. But instead she rushed me into the room and just started putting needles in me. Then I texted her after my visit and told her I felt rushed and she passed me on to a colleague of hers, I made an appointment with him but then decided to cancel it because I did not like the energy from the whole situation. So disappointed with the whole thing.I was talking to a neighbor of mine and it turns out he went there and had the same experience with her. Amazing care! Felt shoulder& neck relief after just my first visit. I know this is the best route to eliminate my neck and arm pain.

I was 34 weeks pregnant and baby was breeched! I made an appointment in hopes to turn the baby and it worked! Ofcourse I tried other remedies at home but I know this was a major factor as I felt the baby moving tremendously during and after treatment. I've been having these painful sharp jabbing migraines for the past few days that over the counter meds wouldn't relieve. So, I tried calling 2-3 businesses for an acupuncture or massage appointment on Monday and nobody answered their phone. Then Tuesday, I called Kelly. I wasn't expecting anyone to pick up like the other places, but she did! She took me in on her first available appointment the same day. When I arrived, her office felt homey, quiet and welcoming. Since it was my first visit here, I needed to fill out a form. She prefers to do consultation WHILE treating you. This is nice because she's utilizing the consultation time to work on your needs. While she was treating me, I was able to address any other issues I was having instead of just the migraine i came in for. Without hesitation, she treated other issues i brought up during the 1-hour session. So don't hesitate to tell her all your ailments! I knew she knew what she was doing when the first point she would touched was the exact point where it was painful (if you've ever had acupunture, you would understand what I mean). Usually when I go to other acupuntures, they do, at most, 3 different techniques on me, which is fine as long as I feel better. But with Kelly, I counted 5 different techniques, which was nice to experience! She also gave her opinon on what could be the root of the problem and suggestions. It's been 2 days since my visit. Although I haven't fully healed from it, those sharp jabbing pains has eased up a lot and it isn't as constant as it was before. I can actually focus a little better on things I need to than worry when the next painful jolt will happen. I've been looking for a regular acupuncturist for awhile since the one I used to go to moved to Simi Valley. I think Kelly taking me in was no coinsidance. I am a first time patient and Unfortunately I had an upsetting experience. I asked Kelly to explain the process since I am unfamiliar with this and to let me know when the process would happen. She put the needles in my areas that hurt without giving me warning or explaining anything. I felt really uncomfortable. I instantly turned pale and nauseous and she told me to lay down but I felt so nauseous I couldn't even lay down. She didn't take the needles out right away and I felt like she was pushing me to wait it out and put more needles in. She ended up taking them out, She left the room and came back to find me crying from feeling so uncomfortable. I still had to pay 40$ for my visit after my bad experience. I wanted to leave so badly once I felt nauseous and there was no empathy shown or comfort by Kelly which made it even worse. She had great yelp reviews which is why I chose to go to her. I am not dramatic or the type of person to leave yelp reviews but I do not want someone else as to go through the same thing I did. As I was paying, she admitted she knew I was so young and saw my face go pale but didn't do anything about it until I reacted.
