She is the BEST massage therapist I've ever had! She's absolutely amazing! She's extremely knowledgeable and seems to be able to "read" your body, finding the muscles and tendons that need to be worked on. I've had many massages here. I first came for prenatal massage and it was so amazing because I was so sore and they had the special pillow so I could lay on my stomach. You aren't supposed to nor can you easily lay on your stomach while pregnant. Then I started getting couples massages with my husband after the baby was born and I was sore from carrying the baby in my arms. I have been getting regular massage with Saul to address some overuse injuries and a different injury related to a fall. It has been a ,ongoing journey to get mobility back but thanks to Saul I was able to get through my physical therapy and back into activities like pickleball, swimming, and no more anti-inflammatory meds. Abby is a true professional and took great care of my wife who is far along in the pregnancy. I had Dana for my session. I was in desperate need to destress and relax. We ask for a specific time and they did some shuffling and was able to accommodate us. The facility was clean and the staff were very friendly. SERVICE: (BAD STUFF) The process is a bit odd for me, but am willing to adapt. The site isn't updated which could irritate me or accept and move on. You make your appointments via text which I know is becoming the norm into the future but I am NOT a fan. I'm old school and prefer business calls and emailed notifications. I HATE multiple text notifications. All to say, if you're a texter or a younger person, this is not a problem for you lol. I also had a little trouble finding the place. However, my first time was at night. I learned the front door is closed off so you use the back door as the main entrance (I have a picture of the correct entrance). (GOOD STUFF) Once arrived, staff were friendly. Prices were good to me. Place was clean with typical massage facility vibes (images attached). In addition, what I absolutely appreciated were the basic background questions, heated bed, and masseuse's doing what I asked. I say this because one question asked about dislikes/aroma's, which I am not a fan of. Sprays, splashes, scented oils, etc. give me a headache and/or just smell bad. Therefore, I appreciated what was used. hmm, I could consider bringing my own products. I also loved the heated bed. Third, I said what was bothering me and both did what was asked which was to focus on certain areas. Thank you! OH! Another reason why I like them is because they're open till 6pm which works for me because I have time to leave work and get a massage. What I absolutely can't stand are businesses that close when I get off from work. I mean, when are the people supposed to be serviced, when we skip work? Thanks Embody! WORK: My first time going I had Saul. Nice guy. He enjoyed my responses which were a bit funny. He's good for deep tissue. He listened, though I think in moments forgot lol but went back. All good. He was considerate with asking if I was ok. The second experience was with Alvaro. Great hands and elbows lol. I think my body vibed with him a bit more. Again, also attentive. Great pressure. WELL: I will definitely, definitely return. My only reasons for the 4 instead of the 5 is due to the website and texting lol. I hate it. Alvaro did my prenatal massage and it was just what I needed. I plan to schedule a massage monthly. The room was clean and serene. The massage table was warmed to a super comfy temp. They provided a refreshing cup of cold water before and after my massage as well. The blanket/sheet felt so great on my skin. I enjoyed the smell/essence of the environment.
