I wish I could give negative stars, I had the worst experience ever with Melissa Brimer and Kelly Mcmahan from the McMahan law office, She was unhelpful , and I ended up losing the case because of her incompetence. I had the same results before hiring her which is teen's court and community service hours ! So She basically did nothing and only stretched the time of the case. we lost the case that was a sure win case; where my son was accused of running the bus stop sign by a racist cop. there was a witness and a video proving his innocence as the video did not show my son running the bus but she told me the video does not prove or disprove anything and caused us to lose the case. I had hired her in the first place to prove my sons innocence and yet we lost the case due to her extreme incompetence. I would never recommend her to anyone unless you want to waste you money and time. read more

We are so happy to have stumbled upon Kelly McMahan and her team. They were extremely accommodating and patient with whatever questions or issues that were brought up. The communication between office staff and the attorney was always consistent and they returned every email and every call we ever relayed. Our situation was kind of a mess because it involved multiple jurisdictions and Kelly and her team was able to get it all sorted out. Even when the courts messed up they were able to rectify the situation promptly. Kelly McMahan was able to get our case outcome completed with a negative finding meaning my dad was able to keep his CDL. Outstanding work! Highly recommended. Great law firm. Handled CDL speeding citation in remote TX town with desired outcome. Kelly and her team of assistants and attorneys do a great job. Communication over the phone or emails is great. They will go in lengthy conversations/options that wont affect rates, but will make you made an educated decisions. No empty promises but facts. They will travel to other counties court houses to handle cases. Competitive rates with no hidden fees. For CDL holders, do not pay fines and get a lawyer otherwise you will be slaughtered. I would have 5 star rating regardless of the outcome of the above mentioned citation. They are not magicians but good attorneys. read more

This law firm is a throwback to those days where integrity, honestly in work content, and fair billing practices existed. Rare for today's world. But they took care of a matter I had honestly overlooked in another state. Quickly it was finished and I didn't have to direct them. Do this or do that next. They just knew what needed to be done and did it proactively. And it was out of state... See that word...proactive. This was a terrible experience. My daughter got a ticket for speeding in Austin cost off $204, I found this traffic lawyer Melissa. She asked to pay her the same price as the ticket to we did. After that we haven't heard of her and didn't have any information on our case in a month. After a month she just emailed saying we lost the case and we have to pay the speeding ticket..... the impression was like she just took the money and didn't do anything.... A very tricky case where it definitely could have gone the other way. The entire staff was super helpful and accommodating even from out of state. Just got an email and phone call that the case had been DISMISSED. I want everyone to know that this wasn't a case of a greedy lawyer that didn't help.
