This particular ( Rowlett store ) was the worst experience i've had on customer service ever…read moreperiod. The clerk had no i help #1 i walked in at 3:30 on a Friday. I was the 3rd customer she was on her cellphone speaker phone talking sounded like a personal matter. While she was mixing paint she said " I'll be right with y'all " A 4th customer walked in waited then left. A contractor in front of us was buying out the store for his paint job so that took a while. Finally when she got to me i needed a paint match for a project at home i was currently working on she said she'd call me when it was done, well i never heard back? So Saturday i called and talked to a new clerk gentleman that said yes she left instructions to get it done but what did it look like? It wasn't ready yet come by in a hour. BTW: While waiting it looked like a a guy with a shirt and tie walked by behind the counter out of the office ( Manager?) and said see ya later this weekend to the clerk uh guess he had better things to do than wait on customers? Or ready for quitting time! I'm not blaming the clerk she needed help in my opinion or maybe Sherwin Williams is so high and mighty with their paint products they don't need customer service skills. What a disappointment!

I collected the chlorine from the front desk and made a separate purchase for the seasonings. I didn't use the seasonings until this weekend when I fired up my smoker. It was then that I noticed the "best by" date was from May 2023. While I understand that a "best by" date is just a guideline, two years past that date is quite excessive. I called the store to request an exchange but was told "NO" due to their 30-day policy, which I understand. However, the "manager" repeatedly informed me that seasonings don't expire; they just lose their smell, potency, and flavor. He emphasized multiple times that they were not "expired." Having cooked for over 20 years, I know what happens to seasonings past their prime. When they lose their intended qualities, I typically discard them as they no longer serve their purpose. So, I ask you this: What do you buy seasonings for? The smell? The flavor? The potency? All of these attributes diminish over time. The fact that this store sells products with dates from two years ago is quite concerning. Since the manager offered no assistance, I will be leaving reviews to inform the public that this location sells outdated products and is inflexible with their "policy."

Even though it was after closing they loaded it and I never heard a harsh remark or saw a roll of eyes. Definitely will always see if I can buy from them as needed.

After trying a few at home, I still couldn't make up my mind -- so I went back today and picked up four more samples. Each time I visited, the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. A special shoutout to Jacob, who went above and beyond by carrying my purchases out to my car for me -- such a kind and thoughtful gesture that you definitely don't see at the big box stores, where you're lucky if you can even find someone to help you! It took awhile to get the product and then get our cc to go through since it was a large purchase. They close at 7. We didn't have to option to pick up our order later since we are going home tonight. The loaders of the product had to stay 20 min after closing to help load onto our U-Haul trailer and were obviously not happy. We had to modify the pallets the floors were on to fit. Not the best customer service and as service providers ourselves we would never treat our customers that way. Hopefully this location does better in the future bc we absolutely love floor and decor. I was so happy to find prefinished solid oak floors at a good price.
