We've sent purchased an antique cabinet that we use at use as a coffee bar and two light fixtures. All the furniture in the store is absolutely adorable and has been given TLC. The people in the store however are what makes this experience so amazing. Everyone in the store is as invested in finding you what you're looking for as you are without being pushy. The gentleman who delivered the cabinet whose name is John pointed out that it was a little wobbly and could benefit from some reinforcements. He told us what we needed to buy and how to reinforce it ($5 and 10 min of our time). We intended to do this ourselves. To our surprise however he rang our doorbell the next day and said he just didn't feel right leaving us with a wobbly cabinet. He came back with all the materials and reinforced the cabinet for us and didn't want a dime from us. It's this kind of customer service that has made me a lifelong customer of the Shoppe.

The crew was able do do 10 rooms in 3 days, including one room where they had to primer the walls to cover navy blue paint. They worked as cleanly as possible, given the really difficult architecture challenges presented by this particular house. They used a premium paint that seems to have very little "off-gassing"; the house doesn't smell toxic 3 days later. I feel that David and his team provided top work at fair prices. I would definitely use Your Next Painter again.

You can tell there was no primer and only one coat of paint used. I used the exact same type of paint to DIY a bench. Primer, three full coats of paint, and two months later there's no peeling or chips. The bench is in the mudroom and is used daily. Me, an amateur, did a better paint job than these so called professionals. I cant believe I was duped and paid for this subpar work. Got a few quotes that were astronomical...one quote claimed it would be 5k for just the trim...yes you read that right. We called Cain Reyes Painting because he had the least fanciest business card at the Sherman Williams store by us - gotta be reasonable right? Cain a native of Oak Cliff and was doing a job nearby, so he was able to come through quickly and give us a quote. Cain was really nice and took time out to tell us everything he could do included patching holes, re-cocking, fixing trim cracks and sanding down all the prior paint jobs. We agreed on the quote and he got to work the next week! He gave us a 10-day estimate but came through in 5-days and WOW. I've never been so happy and when your dropping that kinda cash you want a wow. It looks and feels like a brand new house. They were clean and professional, taping and covering everything. His teenage son is apart of the crew too which I can appreciate. I'm still smiling writing this review right now! His team also does power washing (which we took advantage of), exterior paint, floors and more. He will be are guy for all of it. He even had a great contact for a handy man that was able to show up the next day after the one we called didn't show up. Delighted with him as well.
