I would highly recommend WMC. I've worked with salesman Nick Fleming in most cases, but you will receive outstanding and respectful service from anyone on the team. They are all approachable, flexible, kind, open-minded and willing to work with you. They listen to their customers and do not apply sales pressure. (there is no need, because they are so good!) Obviously, the vehicles are always priced right, (fairly) that's why I continue to go back and will continue to do so. On May 2, 2020 I picked up a 2019 Chevy Colorado and I absolutely love it. Nick has stayed in touch with me to make sure I'm happy with everything and, of course I am! Mutual respect, trust and honesty are important characteristics in a relationship. I requested some pictures of the suspension since I saw some aftermarket modifications and without one complaint Nick had gotten me all the photos requested. Every dealer I had inquired here in Chicago had ridiculous dealer fees, lot fees, etc and the asking price was already more than a grand more than what Wadsworth motors was asking. This was honestly my first car purchase from a dealer that didn't leave me feeling like I was scammed. Absolutely no buyers remorse and the best part is I didn't even have to haggle. I paid their full asking price. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a car in the area. My wife and I were even talking about wanting to make future purchases from them despite the distance!

The car was extremely filthy on the inside - like checking into a hotel room that wasn't cleaned after someone else had checked out - it was gross. All the food and other crap under both front seats, took days to clean (some of it is still there!). The buttons, the knobs, the console, and all the surfaces were dirty. The worse thing is, the car Jim Marino sold me has a MAJOR problem with the ventilation system which Jim played off as minor. I took the car to Jim's mechanic, who misdiagnosed the car (Top Value Muffler at 3317 Whipple St. NW) and as it turns out, the problem is much deeper & requires the DEALER for repair. Oh well, BUYER BEWARE! All cars are overpriced at this time, the Buick I bought from Jim Marino at 12th Street Auto Sales was no exception, I overpaid by about $3,000, which is actually less than many other dealers were asking for similar vehicles. My life circumstances has required me to cut my life's expenses. I arrived at the dealership and I thought it was odd that they wanted to look at my trade first before I even looked at the vehicle I was there to see. The sales manager came out, introduced himself (wish I could remember his name) took my keys, went and inspected my vehicle, came back without a word and dropped my keys back on the salesman desk I was sitting at. The salesman provided me with a CarFax report and stated their service center had inspected and serviced the vehicle. The salesman then said he would pull the vehicle I was looking at up to the front of the building. I could see him going back and forth, just wandering, first saying he couldn't find the keys, then he comes over and said it was out of gas and he needed to go put gas in it. When he comes back , he's at the front counter, back turned, talking to someone at the front desk. I had an uncomfortable feeling. He finally returned and said, ok I have it pulled up out front. I get into the vehicles drivers seat. I turn the vehicle on. EVERY Dash-light and warning sign is on. Brake, transmission, sensors , abs, steering. I say , all the lights are on and they're staying on. The car, sputters, brakes soft, steering is difficult. We take the car for a test drive, get back to the dealership. I start testing the A/C Not working! We get out, he tells me, his service department will take care of the issues. He Is not interested in showing me the vehicle, doesn't open hood, backseat or show me any of the features. Opens up the back lift gate to show me it has weather tech mats . I look, every wheel is chewed up and cracked. He comments something to the effect that they gave me compensation towards my trade for the condition of the wheels or something to that nature. We walk back in and sit down back at the salesman's desk. He pulls out the appraisal of my car ( from the sales manager). Indicates that it's from the Kelly Blue Book values. My car is a BMW 7 years NEWER than the Cadillac I was looking at, 50.000.00 LESS miles in great condition (NO DASH or WARNING lights on. Their offer was $4500 more than their HOOPTY ! Keeping in mind they were saying it's based on Kelly Blue Book value. I have provided the same day Kelly Blue Book instant offer from the same day! $ 2575.00 higher . Basically robbery, of my car and double dipping . I went to a Cadillac dealership expecting an experience that would warrant a reputable dealership, I instead got the POT-LOT experience. I wouldn't buy a lawnmower here.

Just like in the case of the other review by "Eddie K.", they told one thing, and then the other. First, I couldn't finance the remaining balance of the purchase (about $2,700), then they told me I had to finance at least $5,000 - i said "ok". Then they changed their mind again and said I couldn't finance anything towards the nearly $10,000 purchase - cash only! And once you drive one of their cars off the lot - it's yours! The transmission could fall out in front of their dealership (after just handing them $10k cash) and they wouldn't give a damn! And yes, a car should have NEW TIRES. Serra sales cars with tires that are below the safety limit. The manager's name involved was Andy, and the salesman's name was George. AVOID THIS SHADY DEALERSHIP. The corruption that was "Doug Chevrolet" remains there to this day.

I was given a rate of 5.75% with 811 credit score and $30k down on a $39k vehicle. I've never paid over 4.5%. Was told I had to buy paint protection because I didn't have a trade in. Was told we had to accept these terms because we "aren't local customer base". And waited on and off for 4 hours! The business must think people are not intelligent to protect themselves from the car sales hustle. I would not recommend this very shady business. However, the salesman "Jose" was great and understanding. He is why I have a 2 instead of 1 star review. Sorry for a bad review but all 100% true.
