There's no one running the service department properly. They don't have mechanics. They have techs. And they don't have enough. And the one tech who they refer to often, has either called off sick, or he's on vacation. Regardless, they blame him for delays. I believe they are making up lies! It's gone beyond upsetting! It's our main vehicle, we've had to borrow cars from family to get around. A loaner has never been offered. I see the lady who owns Diehl is advertising on TV. Good luck. I can buy a car anywhere but if their service sucks, they will never see me again. This has been hell.... I'll update if things get resolved before June 1, 2024 I'll remove this complaint if resolution can be achieved.

I brought the car in for warranty service and drove 45 minutes to get there trying to be loyal to this dealer as my sales experience with them was great. i was told they don't do loaner cars, which I know to be false because I was given one when a mover hit my car with a desk and made a small scratch the day I bought the car. They also said they couldn't even give me a ride home, so now I am driving a car with issues through the safety system until I can figure out how I am going to deal with the situation. Until now I would have recommended this dealer with flying colors for sales, but not impressed with service.

Bob Malloy was very personalable and professional. I was especially reassured by his knowledge about the vehicle and his no pressure attitude. I drove three hours to see this car and trade mine in. I ended up with a spectacular deal and great car. I would highly recomend this dealership. In the future, I will make the drive again to purchase another Mercedes Benz from this man and the folks at Kempthorn Mercedes Benz of Canton, Ohio.

The listing clearly stated that one of the features was their "Liberty 4 Life" program. When flipping through the pictures, one of the pictures said "reasons to buy from Liberty" and the lifetime powertrain warranty was mentioned in those reasons, too. When I got to the dealership and decided we wanted the car, they told us it doesn't qualify for the program. When I asked why it says it has it in the listing, they said that all their vehicles say it. I took the vehicle to a Subaru service department and they told me it needed a transmission flush and Liberty refused to do it. They also connected the computer to it and found 3 error codes. Why didn't Liberty's service department do this before trying to sell the car to me? The tailgate was only working intermittently. The salesman gave up trying to get the tailgate to open when we testdrove it so he put the license plate in the side window. Even with that, they wouldn't explore further what the issue was because it worked later when we tried it. I had put $500 down on the car for them to hold it for me until we had the deal all worked out. I left a voicemail for the used car manager to explain Liberty 4 Life and he never returned my call. They were selling the car as is and they were sticking to that. After 2 weeks of no communication or signs that they really wanted to sell me a car and make me a happy customer, they sent me a text message saying they refunded the deposit and sold the car to someone else. I will never consider buying from this dealership. What a horrible experience.
