Our first stop: Wilson's Farm. Located about an hour from us, this place had come highly recommended, so we figured it was worth the drive. Spoiler alert: it absolutely was. When we arrived, we were immediately struck by just how massive this place is. We're talking rows and rows (and rows) of plants, trees, shrubs, flowers, and greenery of every imaginable kind. If you've ever daydreamed about getting lost in a garden center, Wilson's is that dream -- in real life, with a Texas breeze and the smell of fresh soil. We wandered around for about thirty minutes, and I'll be honest -- we left empty-handed, but not because we didn't like what we saw. Quite the opposite. The selection is so extensive, we got completely overwhelmed in the best way possible. It felt a little like walking into a grocery store without a shopping list -- everything looked great, but we couldn't decide where to start. Do we want shade trees? Flowering perennials? That giant crepe myrtle that's definitely too big for our car but is calling our name anyway? What really stood out -- besides the sheer size -- were the prices. They were surprisingly reasonable. In fact, compared to some of the other nurseries we've visited recently, Wilson's offers some of the best prices we've seen. If you're working on a landscaping project and want to get the most for your money, this place is a goldmine. We didn't walk away with any plants today, but that was more on us than on Wilson's. We simply weren't prepared for the scale of the place or the number of options available. Lesson learned: next time, we're coming with a clear plan, a list, and maybe even some measurements -- because this is not the kind of nursery you casually browse. It's the kind of nursery you go to when you're ready to do work on your yard. In short: Wilson's Farm is awesome. It's huge, the prices are excellent, and the selection is just about everything you could want. Even though we left empty-handed today, we'll definitely be back -- next time with a cart, a plan, and maybe a little less wide-eyed wonder. If you're serious about landscaping -- or just love a good garden stroll -- Wilson's is 100% worth the drive. Just don't forget to bring your plant-nerd A-game!

Thats on me, my mistake. my real complaint is trying to buy mulching kit with a chute block off for three weeks from these people who kept promising me. They were going to send me pictures and pricing and nothing ever evolved from it. It was like they didn't really give a crud. so I found another dealer in Gainesville same thing called for two days. No one called me back finally got a hold of the owner and his parts guy finally called me back after three times and nothing nothing ever transpired. I'm not sure what's going on with these businesses, I guess they're making way too much money. They don't need to sell a $400 mulching kit for their mowers so I made mine and I can guarantee you. It's 1000 times better than a crap they're trying to sell Me. I would stay far away from Sam's lawn riders and if I needed a Scagg or an echo product, I would go to Flanigan's or I'd buy a bad boy from the guy out close to Van Alstyne off of 160.

I was given a price of $ 250.00 a ton to $ 315.00 a ton with variations of stone. I told him we would be there to pick-up on Tuesday. He was very nice & I told him my needs for the stone & he even offered suggestions on the leveling with decomposition granite. My husband, son & I arrive on Tuesday as planned with our 16' trailer, as discussed with Scott as well to accommodate the weight of the stone. We are helped by Matt & he starts figuring up how much it would cost us & another worker states that they just had increase to $ 375.00 a ton. Long story short, it cost me $ 750.73 for this paving stone. Go to Good Earth Soil & Materials folks. They sell the same stone for $ 250.00 to $ 265.00 a ton for the same stone. I called this morning to see if I could bring it back & get my money since it is still on the trailer & has not been touched. I was informed no returns or exchanges!
