This is a local hospital that has a long history in the community. Its present ownership bears the…read morename of the Baptist health system. It is a regional hospital with a large following of patients and folks that use the hospital. I too have used the hospital on occasion, although it is not my favorite in the area. I find the facilities overall old, and the facility is difficult to maneuver and get around in... It's a little bit like a maze. I also have had some experiences at the hospital that I did not care for although I don't know that I could point it to poor service or poor care... It was probably just more my preference.

However, when we took her to Baptist Health, they stated that Sallisaw was not correct and they showed us the X-ray that showed the brake was closer to my daughters elbow. We were so happy they were able to tell us the issue, and we're able to get our daughter on the correct path to fix her arm. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Unsure how the ratings of this place can be low, but our visits have been great. We are new to the area and haven't been impressed with the health care in Oklahoma, but we are so happy we found a hospital that cares for their patients. Thank you so much.

That wasn't done. When I went in post op day two for treatment of infection found out nipple had been completely removed. I had a open wound on light breast from nipple down in triangle shape 3 inches wide and 2 inches deep. We treated it at home for 9 weeks. The left breast was not as bad. Still open only small hole. 6 years later I am still suffering with side effects of hard scars and moving scar tissue that hurts. My whole experience was awful. Never will recommend her to anyone. There were no reviews on her.

Everyday I live with numbness and loss of strength in my right hand. He refuses to help me pay for my expenses , will not acknowledge his surgical error but is boastful about performing 300-plus carpal tunnel surgeries every year. Don't go to this doctor. They wanted me to make a decision which level of cataract surgery I wanted with no information or suggestion about what I needed. He said to come back in 3 weeks for a reevaluation if I chose one of the premium lenses. Then i was sent directly to the girl who schedules surgery. When I explained to the girl at the front desk , I was not ready to schedule a surgery. Then I was sent to the financier. This obviously did not clear up any of my questions. Then I was sent to the counselor. After going through all this, I felt like it was the first time they were explaining things about procedures and options they we're not able to satisfy, My questioning about levels of lenses or what would be best for me. But they were ready to have me pick one? Yes, I did.Watch the six mini videos they sent on my phone that were two minutes apiece. I could not pick a star rating because it's two separate issues. I believe they are capable of doing the job.Excellently. The staff and the building are very professional. Clean and capable looking. The staff was excellent. I would give them a four star. Now the doctor on the other hand may have had a bad day or something. But he is the reason i would give a one star based on he could not satisfy the questions, and I feel that it was his job, and also was about as close as you could get to the word rude. Whoever tells a client/patient , they don't need their business? For that visit on that day the doctor definitely a one star.

Rude and Unprofessional. Researched, and even women that have had hysterectomies, need healthcare, and deserve respect. Rude and unprofessional (she could have just told me over the phone or said she was only interested in delivering not healthcare). My previous Doctor there, insisted I did need to get exams annually. I am changing to another healthcare facility.
