Broke down across the street, caught them as they were closing the doors and were nice enough to sell me some transmission fluid.

I drove to them in Nebraska to pick it up from Illinois. The people were so amazing!! Bob is a great guy and he will answer any question you have about anything. I did loan my camper out to a homeless coworker and they destroyed it and I was devastated but that's why I got insurance and the girls in the office were amazing help especially dealing with the insurance company. I also upgraded my original camper and made the trip to the shop for the upgrade that they planned ahead and did all the work and checked over all my seals and made sure I was 100% before leaving the next day! I can call the office and Bob and the girls are always ready to help with any questions I ever have! I am already looking into buying an upgraded version and look forward to the adventure to getting it!

I bought an Outbound T-Rex Wedge. I love the idea of an affordable off-road trailer and do…read moregenerally enjoy the trailer. This review is not about the trailer itself, but rather my customer service experience with Outbound. I recently paid for their professional installation of my shower awning because I was advised that certain owner modifications could affect the warranty if they were not performed by Outbound. During the installation, I specifically showed them exactly where I wanted the awning positioned because we only had less than one inch of clearance below the rooftop tent (RTT), and I pointed out that detail. Despite that discussion, it was mounted too high, causing the RTT to contact the shower awning before it could fully open. I did not discover this until I drove 2.5 hours home and waited 72hrs for the sealant to cure, which is when I attempted to fully open the RTT, discovering it was making contact with the awning. I do not know if Outbound tried to open my RTT to verify clearance. When I removed the awning to reposition it myself, I discovered multiple unnecessary holes drilled in the bracket supplied by Outbound and a bolt I supplied that had been ground down to fit the T-slot of the awning. In my opinion, the workmanship was well below what I expected after paying a couple hundred dollars for professional installation. Their response? Initially, Amber emailed me saying it was mounted exactly where I told them to mount it and that "it is an easy fix" and that I "just needed to raise the tent 1/2 inch." That overlooks the fact that I still had to remove, redo, and correct the installation myself after paying for the service. Raising a roughly 160-pound rooftop tent that is mounted to the roof rack they installed is not a simple adjustment. I certainly did not request for the awning to be mounted so high that the RTT could not be deployed. I had asked for a partial refund to compensate me for their work that I redid. Amber told me she could not issue a refund and that the owner Bob was out of town. Four weeks have went by and I reached a couple times and did not receive a response, so I'm posting this review. Based on other customer reviews I've read, my experience does not appear to be unique. I've had to rely on my own time and skills to correct issues because I did not receive a satisfactory solution from the company. I have photos and the email correspondence documenting my experience. Update: within hours after posting this review Outbound has decided to respond to my original request of asking for a partial refund...they sent two emails. One claiming my review is false and another threatening to sue me for posting "miss information"...yes, that's how they spelled it. Follow-on emails on a Friday refused to even discuss anything as long as my review was posted. In an act of good faith, I temporarily removed this review over the weekend to allow for discussion and consideration. I got an email Monday morning claiming that my initial comment of "looks great" minutes after seeing it mounted somehow is a verification of proper clearance and function and that no partial refund would be given. I was threatened again with legal action of any false and negative reviews. In that same email the company acknowledges that my clearance issue was a "10min fix", completely ignoring that corrective work still needed to be performed after I paid them to do it for me
