Came here for a big work lunch party. They had tables set aside for us and a bench to put our coats on. We started with two large nachos for the table... Which were bigger than we expected... So only half of each was finished because we knew the meals were coming soon. I got the Chicken Alfredo Pasta, which in my opinion, didn't really taste much like Alfredo sauce and more like just a watered down creamy sauce. The pasta was well cooked but the chicken was the star in my dish. So tender and well seasoned! Love it. Would definitely come back here because the waitress was super professional and nice too! Went for lunch today with coworkers and 2 little kids and it took us 2 hours to be served our meals. The service was completely unacceptable, food arrived cold and burnt. There was only 1 server working the lunch crowd and honestly she was amazing despite having to deal with so many people because the Manager didn't staff the shift properly. I would like someone to reach out to me. This is unacceptable! Also children's meals had to be sent back because they were under cooked. After ordering drinks we waited 30 minutes to Recieve them and place our order (and I had to flag waitress down to remind her about us)the food was taking an hour and a half, I asked the waitress if I could order some bread while we wait because my daughter felt ill she was so hungry. She then just replied "ill see if your foods ready" about 10 minutes later she flew by and just said "its not ready" and didn't bring the bread. Rating is based solely on weekday lunchtime sit-down. It never really gets jam-packed at lunchtime, but the service tends to be slow at this location. There's usually only one staff member handling the entire dining area. Considering the time restrictions of the typical work lunch break, you'd expect a chain restaurant to have quicker service during weekday lunch hours. Not the case here. Most times, your lunch, from the moment you sit down to the time you pay your bill, will take close to an hour. I'd highly advise ordering quickly and asking for your bills at least 10 minutes before you need to pay. Foodwise, it's a chain so it's pretty standard fare. I really liked the taco mix and match - 3 for $12.99. You can mix and match between breaded shrimp, fish, and jerk chicken. The fish and breaded shrimp were pretty good, but the jerk chicken was seriously lacking in flavour. One unique aspect of this dish was that the 3 tacos were presented on top of a gigantic tortilla, with the edges hanging off the edge of your plate. This was oil drenched, but I have to admit, it tasted really good. Seasoning was perfect. read more

I am a Kelsey's fan. While they don't quite stand out amongst other chains, they are consistent and have some unique food offerings... Like the chicken fingers with caramel and pretzel bits that I tried during my last visit! They have a bit of a promo on right now with interesting takes on chicken fingers which rules for someone like me that orders chicken fingers more often than I probably should. They also had chicken Parmesan fingers (didn't try) and Cool Ranch Doritos fingers (which I had tried a few months ago.. Icky unfortunately) and while all of the ideas may not work, I love that they're trying to make this classic dish a little more interesting! The caramel fingers were certainly unique and very tasty. I wasn't too crazy about the pretzel pieces so I just picked them out. I would likely order them again if they stick around. As for the location itself, I sat in the bar area and was served by the bartender - no complaints about the service, we were well tended to and everyone was friendly. Nothing particularly exciting to state about this place. Food wasn't delicious but it was good. Where we were sat by the window was cold, so that wasn't enjoyable :) although I'm assuming the heating was on so unless there was just a draught by the window .. the desert on the other hand was delicious! Waitress was lovely, no length waiting for food, free wifi, no trouble finding parking, nice and quiet during the week, tvs on inside to watch the basketball if needs be, bathrooms clean.. can't complain. Food was delicious, yet service lacking...had to ask for a refill and he was scarce until he handed us our bill. Forgivable however as the lunch rush had begun. After a day of traveling from Detroit, our motel suggested Kelsey and provided us with a 'free appetizer" card. The restaurant was fairly new, but part of a restaurant chain. I would say it was similar to Applebee's or Friday's in terms of menu, layout and feel. Our waitress was quite busy but it was after 8 PM, and the place was not full. The appetizer was good, not great. We ordered their "Burger 101" which was OK but not close to say Ruby Tuesday's similar item. We had 2 glass of house wine, which was also OK but not great. The atmosphere was terrible for dinning, we were seated near a table of 6 tipsy, loud women. There were tables with screaming kids, and the background music was loud & annoying. There didn't appear to be any management people on duty, so we ate and left, never to return!! read more

I'm not big on chain restaurants so this is my first visit ever to Kelseys despite driving past so many before. I ordered the goat cheese and beet salad with chicken. Should have asked for the dressing on the side because the salad was soaked. It wasn't bad, just not my preference. It was a lot of salad and I couldn't finish it. Aside from the amount of dressing, overall it was delicious and had a nice blend of taste. My sister got the lunch trio and for 10.99 it's a good deal. The soup however was a bit too creamy and thick. The sandwich was on cranberry rye and was delicious. The salad is nothing to rave about but they gave you dressing options which doesn't happen for most house salads. Service was top notch. Very friendly server. Our glasses were always full without having to ask for refills. Docked one star off because the silverware was dirty and that's a pet peeve of mine when there's fingerprints all over the utensils I'm about to put in my mouth. We just grabbed a new set off another table. I don't normally eat out in Brampton but would definitely consider going back. Great place overall. read more

So I went to Kelsey's last night for dinner with a friend, and I have ate at Kelsey's many times before - just not this location. For those of you who have never been to Kelsey's, Kelsey's is a restaurant chain that gives you a little a bit of everything - burgers, pasta, seafood, steak, ribs, salads, soups, blah, blah, blah etc. Anyways I went to Kelsey's the service was slow from the moment I stepped into the door. I don't know if it was a cost cutting initiative but there was one waitress for like 10 tables .... anyways so the service was totally slow she came by once to ask for refills on our cokes and wings - it never came - its hard to have all you can eat wings - when the wings never make it to the bloody table!!! LOL Anyways after waiting for a billion years (40 plus minutes) - I asked for the manager (mark?) and he was like maybe she forgot and took the wings off the bill - good job mark, but totally ruined my evening. Cons - slow service, waitress had attitude, manager was sorry but he could of done more, Pros - food was good, In closing, I like Kelsey's, in fact I like it more than some of the other chains but HELL to the NO will I visit this location again. read more

I come to this location all the time, i find it better than the other Brampton locations. Food is consistently good, service usually very great. I prefer to be seated in Mike's section as he is an amazing server. Menu changes come more frequently now which is a good opportunity to try many different things, and desserts are amazing. We had dinner at this particular Kelsey's about two weeks ago and it was one of the worst experiences I've had with a sports' bar restaurant . The night began relatively well, once we arrived it took us about 5 minutes to seat us since the Kelsey's was pretty vacant. This is when the night started to get a little rocky. After being seated, it took 30 minutes for our waitress to come and get us drinks. Time passes as we've been all ready to order for the past 15 minutes but our waitress is nowhere to be found. At this point we've been here for about an hour and we are contemplating cutting our losses and leaving. We decide to give it another five minutes since we assume they're understaffed or really busy(even though the establishment looks pretty empty). This is when another waitress/host comes to us. No idea why our first waitress just disappeared but our second waitress/host was very pleasant. Collectively the four of us ordered Nachos, Fish and Chips, Alfredo Chicken Pasta, Classic Sirloin Steak and the breakfast burger. To start I asked for pulled pork nachos to split, but they mentioned they ran out of pulled pork. At this point I was thinking, okay no big deal they ran out. So instead I asked for chicken on top of the nachos. After the nachos arrived and I was pleasantly surprised, It was good and the size was large enough for all four of us to share. After the nachos is when our main dishes arrived. The breakfast burger was good. The fish and chips on the other hand was hit and miss. The fish was okay, but the fries were really stale and dry. The fries tasted like it was sitting out for an hour under a hot lamp. After a few bites of the fries I put the plate to the side for the waitress/host to take away. The pasta that arrived looked appetizing, but after one bite we saw that it had about an inch and a half of oil at the bottom of the bowl. There was so much oil that my girlfriend returned it completely and did not want another bowl of pasta since she had lost her appetite for the rest of the dinner. When the steak arrived, the waitress informed us that they ran out of vegetables excluding carrots. This took me by a surprise, how can a restaurant run out of vegetable? We decided to overlook this because at this point, we just wanted to finish what was left of our meal and leave this establishment. Then we have the steak. When my friend cut into her "well done" steak, it was pink-raw on the inside. We assumed it was cooked, but the pink texture on the inside proved otherwise. We called over our waitress, which I would like to mention again, was really kind and understanding during this whole terrible experience. She saw the steak and apologized and mentioned that this steak is definitely not well done and sent it back to the kitchen. When it arrived the second time it was a little dry but it was cooked properly this time. Overall the trip was really poor and I would not recommend it to anyone. I do feel bad for our second waitress, she was really trying to recover the night but it was already ruined beyond belief. read more

They had nice decor and the server was really nice however we waited so long for our food over an hour, we ordered nothing special just burgers, which they were advertising on their menu for a burger fest. They offered us an appetizer we said no at first but then accepted when it was taking way too long, and when we went to pay it was charged to the bill. This restaurant was quite busy so it's understandable and I would be ok waiting if the food was worth the wait. Instead my burger was so tiny and my kettle chips were cold .My daughter's burger was missing the deep fried pickles that were supposed to be on the top. Absolutely terrible. All of the workers are very rude, the hostess rather talk to each other than even answer my questions. I had made a reservation hours before and when I got to the restaurant they had just cancelled it minutes before the time I had reserved my seats. Hostess was very rude, did not want to cooperate and was complaining about me to another worker right in front of me. Please don't even bother coming here. Waited 2 hours and never got seated. Food: Breaded shrimp was overcooked, oily, and the layer of batter was almost as thick as the shrimp. Bruschetta was stone cold , and did not taste fresh at all. I also ordered their classic hot wings which the waiter said were really spicy. Adding vineger to give the illusion of spicyness is an insult to chicken wings, and on top of that the other flavours were completely non-existent. The four cheese spinach dip with deep fried chips tasted like it was microwaved, and it looked caked and dehydrated around the corners of the bowl. Service: Quick and cheerful. Our server Candice was brilliant and very helpful it was more the kitchen staff and other servers who were not so good, wasn't understanding that what we had ordered was wrong. Not a very good first impression at this location. We always go to East Side Mario's and absolutely love it there but thought of giving a try here. Bad move. Pasta was definitely microwaved. My 3 yrs old told me dad u make Better pasta than this. Service was horrible. Have to call server every time. Overall not a good experience. Bad service - refused to use any coupons even though they were still valid. Ditzy waitress couldn't do two coupons at once -fine - but then refused to use even one. When I asked to speak to the manager he refused to come out. The restaurant was dead and it was a Saturday night. Not good customer service at all. Food lacks care - looks like it was thrown on a plate. Even if the food was good we won't be returning - service is everything in this day and age. read more
