The coldest draft beer. Peter G is always my place to grab a cold draft beer. They never disappoint. The bar girls are always welcoming.

A little pricey but they were generous with the amount of protein, and being 5"2 Asian girl, I had leftovers lol. The very cherry chocolate cheesecake was enjoyable the first few bites for me and my husband, but ended up getting a bit too sweet! Might be better to share with at least one more person. The menu can be quite overwhelming since they give you so many options, but it would be a good spot for large groups. Highly recommend making a reservation, especially during the weekends.

We had to wait 1.5 hours for a table - we decided to explore the Yorkdale mall to kill some time and when we finally got to sit, we were told they ran out of the fried mac and cheese balls which was one of their most popular item and something we really wanted to try. Anyway, our server said she didn't see any bread and will bring us some if she sees it. Kinda weird... We ordered our food and the wait time was quite long. The calamaris were really bad. No taste whatsoever, just deep fried and served. The Asian chicken nachos were okay but it barely had any chicken in it. For mains the chicken madeira was the only highlight of our meal. The chicken was tender and flavourful and the mashed potatoes were really well done (can't go wrong with that, eh?) but the spicy chipotle pasta didn't have enough sauce and it needed a good mix tbh. The taste was good though. The rigatoni was also very mid. Given the average food taste and the service, I don't see myself coming back, that's for sure.

The place has limited seating, hence the wait time. The service was prompt and there was a variety of menu items to choose from. Ambiance was nice and cozy as well. The servers were also friendly. Ordered the Chashu Benny, Yuzu Miso Pancakes (weekend exclusive) with Yuzu Blueberry Sauce on the side, and the Miso Maple Cold Foam Matcha Latte. My favourite was the Benny! It was so tasty and the Chashu was cooked nicely. The pancakes were okay, we thought the Yuzu Miso sauce would be drizzled onto the pancake, but came on the side. The matcha was good but wished we could taste more of the miso maple foam, as it didn't really blend in, but the foam itself was delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for a brunch spot in that area!

The portions were very generous, the food was delicious, and the whole experience felt comforting and satisfying. The Tonkatsu Sando was my favorite. The pork cutlet was thick, juicy, and crispy, with a rich sauce that paired perfectly with the soft, fluffy Japanese toast. I also really liked the Hojicha Kuri French Toast. The chestnut purée was not overly sweet, and the hojicha sauce had a nice balanced flavor that made the dish feel indulgent without being too heavy. There were still so many things I wanted to try because the portions were so big. The fried chicken waffles smelled amazing, and the pasta at the next table looked surprisingly good too. I also just found out they serve sake in the evening, and their ochazuke is supposed to be excellent. The service was also very good.. friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole brunch experience even more enjoyable. Together with the cozy and relaxed ambience, it felt like such a nice place to slow down and enjoy a meal. Overall, Ohiru Cafe is definitely somewhere I'd go back to for a brunch that feels a little different and very satisfying.

The space is a bit tight and a little noisy. The food is a mix of Vietnamese tapas and classic dishes. I got the milk bread and spring rolls to start. The milk bread came with this durian butter which was interesting... the bread was nothing more than a dinner roll. I love the spring rolls and perfect starter for sharing. I had the pho and it was good. The broth is nice and well seasoned, though not as fragrant as others I have had. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were a hit, the potatoes were so creamy. The chicken rice was average, probably wouldn't order again. The menu is extensive and so much I want to try next time. Sadly the service sucked, they were so slow in giving us menu, water, taking orders. No one checked up on us, and had to flag for the bill. I would come back once more to try their other dishes.

It's a beautiful restaurant though and had good vibes. Service was good although it did slow down as we reached peak lunch time. The items that took the longest to come were the pho but this was acceptable since we weren't in a rush. The satay pho had a good kick to it and there was quite a bit of rare beef inside. Next time I would probably do a little bit of everything for their toppings. I think more noodles could have been added for a large pho but I was full. Next time I'd come to try more of their bbq items and appetizers. It's a bit of a splurge but definitely has a unique menu!
