Sad end to a good day. We ordered, got a nachos starter. No problem - good. I think then we got forgotten. We waited 45mins for food and then receiving it because we wondered how long we had to wait. Told it was because I ordered my steak well done. The food was cold. We requested a spicy buffalo burger came out sweet. Gravy gloopy. Burger dry. Then we asked for the bill and just sat and waited some more. The place was locked up - they forget we were still there! Lady brings the bill out and expected a tip. Sorry I can't tip for poor service. Then she told me she works hard hard and has a son to provide for - made to feel guilty. I didn't like this. Ordered the Shrimp Thai Curry Bowl with noodles. The portion size was decent for the price but wish there were more shrimps in the dish! The food was horrible. Ordered the fajita for two. It was a small platter with filling for about three fajitas. The meat and rice were so burnt that they were stuck to the platter. We asked the waiter how this platter was meant to serve two people, he said they had a change in management and things are a bit different. He brought us another platter because the first was burnt. The second platter has very little meat and mostly peppers and onions. No seasoning, bland and just a complete rip off for $39. If this is the type of restaurant/food you are looking for, go to Montana's instead. read more

Well, we decided to try to have supper here again after almost two years of avoiding it. We were completely disappointed again and has confirmed my desire to not return. Long story short: the food was not appetizing. Overseasoned burger and salmon, wrong sides brought out, stale rice and a server who admonished us when we told her (when asked) how our food was. Her attempt to rectify the situation was to offer free dessert which was confusing. It's unfortunate to see how much this place has changed over the years as we used to visit regularly. After perfectly splendid weekend in the mountains with some old friends we thought it would be nice to have a late lunch to say farewell. Once we ordered our meals there were multiple messed up orders along with peoples food not arriving. My chicken wings tasted like rubber and my fries were softer than my hog after 20 beers. After our "meal" the lady insisted on us tipping her big and "helping her" while leaning over each person paying. I will not ever be returning to this Kelsey's nor the surrounding Collingwood area. At first when I walked in, it was a little dark to see. That would be the only problem, the lightning. However you'll be in love with the food! I ordered the spinach dip for the entrée. Went here for the first time EVER tonight and got the "almost everything" burger, ordered a jug of coors light that had bugs in it. After the extremely energetic waitress brought over a new "pint" (yes she made the choice to only take my glass and leave the jug at the table). The new pint she brought over to the table was completely flat, it was one of the worst beers I have ever had. Once the food arrived I was happy and very hungry at this point, I unraveled my knife and for out of the napkin and saw a disgusting knife and fork that hadn't been washed properly. The beef from my burger was so greasy and the onions were undercooked, caramelized onions should be brown now oily and raw. Remember this is my first time ever stepping foot into a Kelsey's and will be my last, I'll never return to this place again. We visited there on Thursday evening for dinner. My wife ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken meal. The chicken and the mashed potatoes were fine but the side dish of broccoli & carrots were "COLD". I had ordered a different chicken meal with fries. The side dish of broccoli & carrots were also "COLD". Our waitress asked how our meal was and she was told about the cold veggies. She returned a few minutes later with a bowl of veggies for my wife that you could tell was straight from the microwave. When the bill came my wife's meal was free. Came here after hitting the ski slopes at blue Mountain. The staff are pleasant and efficient in having us seated. The wines were alright, she had a chianti and I had a shiraz, however mine tasted corked...as in most of the flavor notes were missing. Hmmm however for food we both shared two appetizers. Kelseys Bruschetta is a 4. Great medley of flavours and portions were satisfactory. Good job. Potato skins with mozzarella and bacon was good, nothing over the top, however the presentation aspect of this dish was missing. Overall this dish was a 3. Went to Blue Mountain for 3 days and was tired of the mediocre food at really high prices. Went to Kelsey's and I was really impressed. Kelsey's has ditched that old logo and has a new, modern feel to it! The spinach dip is still the amazing dip as before with the perfect pita scoops. I got the fettuccine chicken Alfredo and it was good. I thought there was a bit much going on in it such as a lot of tomatoes and spinach and other ingredients as if only to distract me from the pasta itself. I personally wouldn't get it again. My boyfriend got the seafood pasta and he enjoyed it. I had a bite and it was definitely better than the chicken Alfredo pasta that I had. The sauce was actually better too. The service was really quick and the waiter was friendly! We were seated in a cute rustic booth right beside the window in the middle of winter which I was afraid I was going to be cold but it was great! I'm not sure how this place stays in business, I was so bitter and angry, I didn't bother explaining anything to the server. Server delivered drinks to our table, asked us (without a please) to pass the drinks around. Delivered food to all of us but one, took another 10 mins to come. Forgot cutlery, my wife had to go find someone to get cutlery because we were ignored the whole time. When the server delivered cutlery she again expected us to hand it out to everyone. Food was complete garbage, can't even make good fries, it's time to clean the fryer! To top it off, a big curly hair in my salad. Forgetting to offer more drinks to everyone. This is not a joke, I'm local and this really made me upset. I would lover for Gordon Ramsey to pay a visit and shred this place!
