Unfortunately, I pulled the card out too early and the server had to re enter the transaction. This week I received notification that my bank account had been double charged. So, when we were in Kingston, I approached the owner and explained the situation. Rather than refunding one transaction, he gave a song and dance that he'd have to check with his bank. He has seen us in his establishment many many times and obviously I wasn't there to scam him. In fact I even showed him a picture of the message I received from my bank showing two Jiffy Grill transactions for the exact same amount. Since then, I have been advised my bank reversed one of the transactions no thanks to the owner. So, other than the fact that this guy cheaps out by not giving refills for soft drinks, he has lost a good customer as I won't be returning to his establishment. By failing to refund one of the transactions, he was insinuating I was a liar and trying to rip him off for two meals. I don't go to a place that treats loyal customers like that. Too bad, because his servers are the best and the food is good.
