Food is served in huge portions and the facility itself is massive, allowing for plenty of billiards tables.

Food was tasty and just what I needed after my afternoon drive from Toronto. My dinner companion…read morehad a tasty burger topped with blue cheese and I had the chicken sandwich. We were both extremely satisfied with what we decided on. Kaitlin was bubbly and fun and efficiently took our order and checked in on us several times during our visit. Despite the place being a bit busy we didn't feel rushed or unable to hear each other. The place had a lovely vibe with other tourists like ourselves as well as locals and probably university students as well. We didn't stay too late as we had an early start planned for our drive but it looked like the place was setting up for live music. I'd definitely stop in here again for a meal or a drink if I'm in the area.

I could not pass up the tuna nachos. I love sushi so this was an easy decision for me. I usually get it "my way" without any spicy sauce on it. I expected a good appetizer but this exceeded my expectations. The tuna was perfectly seared, chips were crispy, and I loved the extra touch of sesame seeds and radish sprouts. Hubby liked his burger - especially the onion ring on it. Honestly, I can't recall what he said about it too much as I was quite focused on my nachos. Definitely would come here again!

Although many breweries/brewpubs have leaned into the now-cliché industrial look, KBC looks very much like an old school pub. Its walls are covered in the paraphernalia of countless beer companies, and there's plenty of nooks and crannies to sit down with your people and knock back some pints. Going to brewpubs can be a hit-or-miss experience for my non-beer-drinker wife, but KBC's enticing menu has something for everyone. Also, their sausage rolls appetizer was enough to ensure that we were both eager to try out the pub. The sausage rolls are of the bite-sized variety and come with a tomato-chili sauce for dipping. The puff pastry of the rolls was shatteringly-crisp, with some browning on both it and the exposed meat at the ends. I enjoyed the juicy, savoury meat inside and the tomato-chili sauce brought some acidity and heat to the show. Since we still weren't l that hungry, we decided to share just one main, the cottage pie. I always give mental kudos to places that use the proper name for this dish (it's only shepherd's pie if lamb is used) and take it as a sign that they know what they're doing. It's hard to have a *bad* cottage/shepherd's pie, but KBC's stood a bit above the fray with a bit more depth of flavour to its meat seasoning, as well as the smoked cheddar in the potatoes. As always, don't be too eager, as you will burn your mouth. Our server was very chill, but was still attentive and knew his stuff beer- and food-wise. It's easy to see why KBC is such a popular spot, and I'm glad we hit them up on this trip through Kingston!

It's great for small and large groups, for celebrations, for watching sports, and perfect for corporate events! Thanks to my friend for introducing this place to us! It was a pleasure to meet Chef Paulson and his team! Our server was also very friendly and enthusiastic ^^ I love the Asian-inspired menu; Chef Paulson is absolutely talented, and the food is SO AMAZING! I can't wait to visit again. I would recommend the following: Avocado Infused Hummus - The hummus was so light and creamy, and I love the addition of pistachio and pomegranate to this dish! The pita bread was also soft and fluffy Turkey Delight Poutine - Loved this shareable appetizer! Topped with braised turkey, fresh Quebec cheese curd, and crispy kale. That cranberry mayo was definitely chef's kiss! Seafood Linguine - Made with a housemade tomato sauce, and topped with fresh shrimps, Hokkaido scallops, and mussels. A very tasty entrée! Fish & Chips - My friend especially enjoyed this dish Seared haddock (instead of traditionally breaded/deep fried!), served with mushy peas (有驚喜!), coleslaw and tartare sauce. My friends also had the Itaewon Beef Burger with Fries and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs on Rice. Both very tasty according to them ^^
