It's not the same at Kelsey's anymore but this one blew my socks off!! The service was excellent with a manager visit that ended in a pleasant conversation as a cheery on the top of a delicious lunch!!! Add some ice cold beer and this is easily a return visit!! The signature burger was underwhelming and quite small. The trout was tender and flavourful. The service was just okay. Some dishes come with a choice of side, but we weren't told that certain options carried an extra charge until we received the bill. The server even mentioned that she had accidentally undercharged us, so we ended up paying more than we expected. The pricing wasn't clearly explained, which could easily catch travellers off guard.

I found myself wishing most of them were hotter and crispier. But the dips they came with were great. The Fish Tacos were very mediocre. The portions of fish were quite small, and the taco itself not that well dressed. The Caesar was nice and spicy if you like that. Seating is cool, they had a few picnic tables on sand actually. And the servers were all friendly but sometimes hard to find.

It was possible as they weren't fully booked. Since my husband wanted to have a drink, they asked if we were ok to be seated at our table since the lounge was packed. We had no issues with it so were seated and ordered drinks. We had originally planned on just ordering the Sunday Special Prime Rib Dinner, but decided to ask for a menu to check out the apps. We chose the Meat & Cheese platter, which was excellent! Nice variety. We were asked if the standard medium rare was fine and our dinner order was put in. But before that, our server Saige asked if we wanted Bread Service since we had already ordered and appetizer, which we said yes to. We appreciated that she asked! Throughout dinner, Saige checked on us several times. After we were done the mains, she came back to ask if we had room for dessert, and so I said we would take a look. When we ordered, we had a little bit of an odd request to ask if we could order dessert for takeout since we were staying upstairs in the Inn. She said it was no problem and after bringing out our cappuccino, she timed it well to bring the desserts with our bill. We weren't specific so she added the bill to our room, but when I asked her if we could pay it now, she promptly came back with the payment machine. Of course the ice cream melted by the time we were ready to eat the Maple Butter Tart, but still worked. The Cheesecake was a good dessert as well, but I wouldn't exactly call it a cheesecake... After playing a round of golf, my family decided to eat here and take my dad out for Father's day, For starters, we got the parmesan fries. If I were to describe the perfect fry, this would be it. These fries were incredibly crispy and seasoned well with garlic and parmesan. Honestly, I just really enjoyed the texture and quality of the fry. It was deep fried PERFECTLY. I could probably finish 3 bowls of these in one sitting. For mains, I got the salmon feature they had. It came with a thick, sweet glaze along with potatoes and carrots and seared on a pan. This was probably the best salmon I have had from a restaurant in a while. The glaze was very delicious and along with the perfectly cooked salmon it was an easy 5/5. I feel that restaurants always tend to overcooked their salmon, but this was perfectly golden, crisp on both sides while not being too cooked in the centre. So glad I got the salmon. The other mains was the Hawaiian Skewer and New York strip special. I'd say the meat quality from both dishes was very good, but taste wise, it was okay. The skewer was described as marinated in soy sauce, but it tasted more like a blend of herbs. Now I know the food here is expensive, but with the quality of the dishes I'd say it's worth it.
