It's a quiet, clean park with only 16 lots. It's gated and has security cameras and laundry facilities. The lots are huge compared to all the others I've seen. You are spaced perfectly from your neighbor (not 5 steps away), in a fenced yard, with a storage shed and picnic table. They offer all bills paid, which includes; water, sewer, cable, wifi, yard maintenance, and ELECTRIC! Has hook-ups for 30 and 50 amp. I love it here! Hence, the 2 yr tenant

I lived in my RV for a year here, while transitioning from North TX and looking for a house. It's clean and provides many amenities that other parks do not. First they are very kid and pet friendly ! Several parks I attempted to get a spot at (before finding this one) wouldn't allow children. Gordy RV has a swimming pool, kid park and 2 dog parks. The other amenities include wifi, showers and laundry which are kept immaculate! I found this to be a very safe place for my family of 4 to live at. We kept our grill, Coleman stove, lawn furniture, (my son's) bike and many fruiting plants outside and they were never touched by anyone other than ourselves. Lastly the office staff Michelle is always just a phone call away 24/7, and very helpful!

We find it odd that people are complaining about this park. Not only is it the best park in the area, but rver's must realize that for the price you are close to Houston for business or entertainment, and close to the coast for fun. We have traveled the US extensively and a laundry, exercise room, pool, meeting/party room, showers, & BBQ areas are certainly not always available like they are here. We have also been parked around people with children and have seen children at the pool and don't see the problems people mention. There are rules at ALL rv parks, and the management is here to enforce them. Jan/Keith/Becky/Darlene all do a great job keeping this place a friendly, safe, clean place to come to. Try it out before you pay attention any negative online reviews. Some reviews i read are so old that those people don't even work here anymore. Welcome to Texas!

They're vindictive all kinds of extra charges on your bill every month and everywhere. I was very displeased. I had to move my RV after three months because I just didn't feel comfortable there after having to move my trailer being told I wouldn't be charged $75 and I had a three months rent on it on my account and it just got Guilford $60 here and none of it showed up anywhere on the invoice. I got an invoice that said 155 for the last months rent after about $300 got taken off of it with the moving expenses, I had to move my trailer from next-door to the maintenance guy because he just didn't like me or like the way I opened my door and closed it because it was broken waiting on parts. I think he was a little bit obsessive, but that wasn't my problem. I kind of feel like the lady in the office knew my personality and should've moved me in another spot except next to him and then I had to pay $75 to move it and then $300 to move it down to Alvin after I just been there three months and I had $155 in my second month payment and then when my third month came, there was only $95 on there you know I just went and there was no explanation for it on the bill $10 and to park my guest and guest parking even if they didn't stay overnight walk up to my people coming and ask him if they're here to do work to my trailer and my cousins came over here. I mean it's just it's very unprofessional and very unethical to take somebody's money when you tell them they're not gonna charge him $75 to move their trailer down to another slip because of mistake was made putting them next-door to the obsessive-compulsive maintenance guy. I haven't even begun to call the corporate office yet because I'm still so angry about it but I will get my money back and then took my entire deposit. My life bill was never over $95. I had $150 deposit they gave me $16 back so we did all that money go cause I cleaned the slip before I left with the water hose and when it wasn't clean when I moved in the second one, it was filthy just very unprofessional someone in the office when someone is being humble and moving it after they shouldn't have to they should be a little bit kinder and keep their word of not charging $75 they promised not to charge. I would just definitely think twice about moving there and someone told me not to post this about trailer places that I can get black ball from you know certain parts if I post something that's bad I don't care what they did was wrong that was my first home by myself after my children growing up and my mom going to assisted living soon that was my first home by myself and then they just ruined it for me.

The gates are closed at 8pm and can be opened with an access code, so the sense of security is a real plus. The location is convenient to about any dining or entertainment and a nice quiet spot to return to after. The quiet atmosphere, very nice manager and our lovely shaded spot have made this a place we'll return to soon.

We've been plotting our way around Texas in our RV in a quest to visit all of the railroad museums in the state. Bay RV Park was a gem with spacious sites, clean facilities and nice people. The site is about 15 minutes away from the Dickinson Railway Museum and 30 minutes from the Galveston Railroad Museum which was just perfect for us! Both museums were delightful and we even managed to take in some of the historic house tours on Galveston Island. Soon as she saw my husband the first day we moved in, she stared at him with confusion and a look of disgust. She followed him all the way around an rv-- practically running! Even almost tripped and fell over the rocks trying to get to him. Shouting at him, "hey! Hey!" "Who are you? What are you doing here??" He looked at her in a total state of shock. She then says, "are you Rae's guest?" He said yes, and she promptly walked off. I guess she realized how bad it came off but didn't bother to apologize, instead just turned around & said "oh we just didn't know who u were". The next day she emails me about how there's no cussing around here because this is a family park. And no smoking in the rv. And no downloading movies illegally because she got a message from the internet provider saying someone was streaming or downloading movies illegally. ???? Ok so a couple hours after the emails, then she has 2 guys knock on the rv I was renting saying they needed to come in asap and log out of netflix and other streaming accounts- which was fine because I had nothing to hide Few days later she yells at my husband that he needs to ride his bike a certain way to follow the traffic of the park. We have no problems following rules and we remained respectful no matter how rude and snarky she was. One day my daughter mistakenly called 911 on my phone and I called back and said hey I apologize my daughter was messing around on the phone. But officers showed up just to check and when I opened the door to apologize and explain, she was right outside with her hand on her hips like she was waiting for something crazy to pop off. She then emailed me and said if cops were called again, that she would be kicking us out. Couple days later, My husband had a bad accident on an e-bike, and was bleeding from his face and all over his body. while walking back to the rv he was telling me what happened on the phone before he came in. She saw him outside in this condition and insisted of having any compassion or concern, proceeded to email me AGAIN telling me that he was cursing and shouting about how he got hit by a car and needs to watch his mouth! about 3 weeks in she told me that the owners did not want to continue renting the rv. That I needed to find a place to live within the next week or 2. Mind you, me and this lady talked for weeks before I moved in. She knew my situation, we have 3 babies, had an accident causing us to lose our vehicle, jobs and our house. We were living in hotels before I found this rv park. She had so much compassion and was super friendly over the phone before seeing us in person. She told me that we could rent an rv for a few months and even promised me that an even bigger rv was coming and we could move into it when it comes so we could be more comfortable. What a joke! Thank God we found a house and got our jobs back that same week!!! I've seen the other poor reviews, how quick she responds. Me knowing how rude and prejudiced she is, I can almost hear the sarcasm in her responses. Sadly she seemed very sweet and maybe she would've been if we didn't look "out of place" maybe? I'm not oblivious. I know I have tattoos from my face to my feet. And my husband is African American with dreads. We might've not fit in. But we stayed to ourselves and we did not bother anyone. Someone there told me that she's notorious for her emails and they believe that she is racist because they overheard her at the hot tub making racist jokes with her friends. But I won't expose their identity as they are still currently a resident. Also just to add, the men staff were not rude at all. They almost seemed apologetic for her ugly nasty behavior. My husband being a black man knew the prejudiced vibe right from day one. She did nothing but confirm this the entire stay.
