The room was very clean and just spacious enough for two. However, the shower was an issue. For whatever reason, the tub is only covered by a glass window halfway resulting in water being splashed onto the ground everyday after a shower. They do have breakfast from 7AM to 10:30AM. Breakfast does have an omelette station with your typical bread, yogurt, fruit, and meat (usually just bacon and sausage) stations. Their omelette was delicious, but does get a bit old after eating it for two days. Nonetheless, the fact that their breakfast ends at 10:30AM allows you to sleep in without missing breakfast is a huge plus. Overall, they have a pretty good range of food selections for breakfast. I also had dinner at Hotel Grandium as well. Honestly i was expecting overpriced, low-quality hotel food like in the U.S. I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. I ordered the venison and a vegetable soup. The soup was a bit overly salted, but the venison was very tender and well cooked. I also ordered a mango ice cream for dessert. I like ice cream that is both a bit creamy and a bit icy simultaneously, which was exactly how the ice cream tasted. I also discovered another favorite Italian red wine (Lisini Brunello di Montalcino) at this hotel, so another shout out to Hotel Grandium for this achievement. If you are in Prague, I do highly recommend Hotel Grandium given its centrally conveniently located location, wide breakfast item selection, and quality hotel dinner.

We hopped in and away we went on a crazy fun ride for 15-20 minutes. Very bumpy and adventurous- must hold on and not suggested for very young or old. Justyna met us at the hotel and took great care of us (she skipped the thrill ride). After we went through their huge warehouse /museum of old cars and military vehicles and many more tanks. Behind the warehouse they had some old fighter jets and an old military bunker we explored. All in all a very fun and unique thing to do!

After speaking with a number of wedding planners in Prague we came across Eva and Butterfly Weddings and decided to engage her - and we are so glad we did! The whole process working with Eva was great - she made everything seem so easy and was always extremely pleasant to work with and always full of energy and positivity. She was incredibly responsive to our many questions and came up with very good options for each of the services we required (florist, quartet, videographer, hair and make-up, cake etc.), making sure that everything was exactly as we wanted down to the finest detail. She made the whole process seem easy and stress free for us. Her suggestions around the timeline for the day and activities to include during the ceremony were also very good and made for a great reception. Her coordination on the day was also amazing - everything was planned to the finest degree and went off without a hitch. My husband and I live in New York, and it became tough at a point when we tried to organise our wedding in Prague because of time, language and cultural difference. We chose Mandarin Oriental Hotel for a venue place and we though their wedding consulting team was enough help for us to be fully equipped planning a wedding. However, it gets difficult to choose trusting vendors and we found that we don't have time to visit Prague to finalise putting all together. Two months before our wedding, we found that we need a wedding planner and I googled search but not much review system has been built with Prague business compare to New York. I contacted big wedding planning agencies in Prague (not to mention) but they are very impersonalised and two of them told me that they'd like to work for planning my wedding but cannot be at my wedding day so they arrange one of their assistant since they will go summer vacation. I was shocked. Then I found Eva by recommendation from my photographer. Eva was totally different from other wedding planners. She's more enthusiastic and showing the sense of commitment with her job than any other wedding planners in Prague which convinced me to choose her. Eva has plenty of choice with venders in different price ranges, and quality of them are all very good. Even my hairstylist said that Eva is a very good planner because her time management and ability to put it together is excellent and furthermore she cares about vendors as well which other wedding agencies in Prague are not. Our guests are impressed at Eva's ability to conduct our wedding and asked us how we found her. We wanted a garden ceremony and under raining conditions, Eva managed all vendors, hotel banquet team, and our guests to make it happen. Whenever we faced obstacles, she always said "but we will manage and make it happen, right?" I agree with other reviews as she is a great wedding planner working with people in different backgrounds. Falling in love with Prague everyday... but not with this hotel…read more Hotel is very close to the mall, to the tram and subway (5minute walk) making it very easy to go/access the attractions of Prague. Rooms were very hot (typical European air-condition). Rooms were semi-old. Bathroom is NOT elderly friendly and not recommended if you are traveling with anybody older. I added the cilantro to the soup. We are from florida so I'm cold here and the soup kept me warm. The service in breakfast room was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Empty containers were refilled promptly. The hotel has the option of passing on room service for a free drink voucher. If you're able to reuse your one towel then I suggest you take it. Room service was not the best. The a/c has a dusty smell. The shower is difficult to get into unless you're very tall. Some corners of the room were not clean on arrival and the same until departure. One other issue. This hotel is located within walking distance to wonderful eateries, train, tram and easy to go anywhere. The only issue is that It is located in a spot where to leave you must walk down quite the slippery little stones and coming uphill is even more difficult. The rest of the walk is very easy.
