Ordered the following parts from this dealer. 17801-77050 Engine Air Filter and 87139-76020 Cabin Air Filter. They instead sent 17801-F0020 Engine Air Filter and a 17801-07020 Cabin Air filter. The engine air filter they sent is interchangeable, but it isn't the part number that was ordered. The dealership failed to notify of this substitution. The cabin air filter was for a completely different vehicle and was incompatible with the one I ordered for. To add insult to injury, they want to charge you for shipping when requesting a refund over them sending an incorrect and incompatible part. Additionally, the part they actually sent is half the value of the part which I ordered. This is for order #7914. I have reached out to the dealership to see if they will correct this. They need to pay to have the incorrect part they had sent me returned and then send me the part I had ordered. If they fail to do so in a timely manner, I plan on opening a case up with Toyota North America and then escalate to a chargeback if they're unable to sort this out. Edit: I wanted to follow up that I was able to get in contact with them on Monday 7/27/2026. The guy who answered indicated they would send the correct parts out. As of 7/31/2026, I received the replacement parts. Both replacement parts they sent were not for the part numbers that were ordered. In fact, the cabin air filter they sent is incompatible with my car and half the value of the one I had ordered. It's honestly impressive that they'll send out the wrong parts again on an order they know they messed up in fulfilling. I came in for a simple oil change today and was told it would be about $100. The last two times I visited this Toyota location, they provided a courtesy ride to and from the dealer. Today the manager told me they "don't do that anymore," without any prior notice. Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional and Frustrating Experience This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Toyota service center. I've been a loyal Toyota customer for years and have visited multiple service locations across Miami, but my recent visit here left me extremely frustrated. The service rep who assisted me, Jasmine Da Silva, was unprofessional from the start. I came in for a simple oil change with an appointment that clearly stated I would be waiting on-site. Despite that, I waited for hours with zero updates. I tried to check in, and was repeatedly told, "She'll call you back," but no one ever followed up. I was left in the dark the entire time. What made matters worse was the pricing and attitude. Jasmine gave me a quote significantly higher than the one listed when I booked online. Then she tried to push a completely outrageous $4,000 quote for a battery mount--something I confirmed later was grossly overpriced. When I declined, her demeanor shifted instantly and she became noticeably dismissive and cold. This level of disrespect and lack of communication is unacceptable, especially for such a simple service request. If this is the standard of service at this location, I'll be taking my business elsewhere--and I encourage others to think twice before coming here. I did my research, chose a couple of cars (online), got pre-approved with my bank & actually used my bank's tool to look at the cars/prices/dealers I could go to with my pre-approval. I arrived at Kendall Toyota & showed Jorge (very nice, respectful, knowledgeable salesman) the cars I wanted to see on my app. He showed me similar ones (different year because dealers don't have all the new cars on the lot anymore). I took my 2022 Toyota Tacoma with about 9,000 miles in to Kendall Toyota (also where I purchased it new from) because the painted steel wheels had some of the paint coming off, and 1 or 2 of them were starting to rust from the paint defects, and my black plastic bumper covers had discoloration stripes on them. the truck was still covered under the basic 3 yr/36000-mile basic factory warranty and out on the service drive the service advisor said the "rust" would not be covered and had a shop foreman come out and take a look at the wheels and bumper covers. The "shop foreman" asked "what is the bumper discoloration from, the sun? I answered I didn't know but they weren't supposed to fade / discolor in "stripes". The shop foreman looked at the wheels and declared if the rust went through the wheel it would not cause a loss of air, but he was 100% incorrect, the section affected is where the valve stems are and that's where the air is inside the wheel when the tires are inflated (he didn't know the product very well) (It should not matter, the wheel paint is covered under factory warranty too and if the wheels rusted due to a loss of paint protection they should be covered anyway) so the shop foreman took pictures of the defective wheel paint and rust and I was told he had to "call somebody" and that they would call me to let me know if the defects would be covered, and if not I would have to call the TOYOTA corporate customer service number to review. The service dept. NEVER CALLED ME BACK and several messages left at the dealer were not returned and I was not able to get the service advisor to the phone. 6 months later and I still have not gotten a call back from the dealer and I only get e-mail solicitations to bring my truck in for an oil change. I also called TOYOTA corporate customer service about 2 weeks after I had brought the truck in, they started a case file and said someone would call me back within 3 days and they also never called me back. I have bought 5 new Toyota trucks over the years, but I may have to stop doing that and will certainly think twice before buying another new Toyota. read more

Would not recommend Kendall Toyota dealership for any service related issues. I took my newly purchased car for its first service back in August (Ronnie and Ony) and had an overall unpleasant experience. Not sure if the issue is training or leadership, but the severe lack of professionalism and communication is extremely disappointing. They kept my car for almost a month for a recall that ended up not being resolved due to a remedy not yet available (understandable) but they returned my car filled with filth as they left it unattended under a tree causing the sap to stain my vehicle's paint. It took several phone calls and a physical visit for someone to actually address this. Manager Ony offered a detail wash which helped but the paint is now permanently damaged. We work hard for what we own and I was in disbelief at the lack of care they have toward customer's vehicles. I gave them a second try in hopes of better service (Edwin and Ony). Took my car in for service and to address the recall since I got notice of remedy. My car was once again returned with the same recall error message. It took over 7 different calls and they just kept passing my call around to different departments. Once I spoke with the advisor asking what exactly was done to my car he stated the coil was replaced. I kept pressing and asking questions and my file was verified that the coil was not replaced actually and they don't know why the error message is showing. This should have been verified prior to closing the file and stating the recall issue was resolved. It was not. It may have been an honest mistake from Edwin, but again lapses in clear communication and expert service with customers. The final solution they offered was for me to take it again, which unfortunately won't happen. I do not feel safe or comfortable with their service and they should really be more careful with the information and treatment of vehicles under their service care. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

Saw a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change for $45 (that's a great deal). I called Kendall Toyota to make sure even though my car is not a Toyota they would be able to service it. They confirmed they can service my car and furthermore ordered my oil filter. Called to make an appointment (as required in the Groupon) and I was all set for the next day. I showed up and they said the filter was not available. So I had to schedule the oil change for the following day. Today I showed up at 7:00 am for that oil change. Once the service technician greeted me he said that being as my car wasn't a Toyota they would not be able to service it. I showed him that in the fine print there was no mention of the car being Toyota only and furthermore two days ago I called and gave my VIN so they can order the filter. He tired calling his supervisor but he didn't answer. Thankfully, the technician made a judgment call and decided to honor the Groupon. The lobby was very comfortable and they had a great cafeteria in the lobby. I was able to use the fee wifi to continue my work. The car was completed in an hour and I received a complementary car wash upon completion. Too bad they gave me a hard time with the oil change otherwise I would continue coming back at this price. My recent experience at Kendall Toyota was incredibly terrible. I was scammed. I financed a new 2025 Rav4. I was given a 5.49% interest rate at signing. When I received my first car payment I noticed the amount due was doubled on what we agreed at the dealership. When I went to the dealership in person to discuss the matter. I was told they couldn't do anything regarding this matter. The interest rate was 9.98%. I was in utter disbelief. I was clearly told my interest rate was going to be 5.49% and in fact, I saw the rate amount on the finance papers at signing. I received a text message from the dealership regarding service and liked that the availability was as early as same day: nothing worse than hearing "come on in!... in three weeks tho." I conversed with Bridgette over the phone to set up the service who was very well spoken and cordial. On March 13th I left my Toyota RAV4 to give me a price for checking/ replacing tire pressure sensors and a defective right rear child door lock. I was told that to get a proposal they needed to do a diagnostic..... I called at 6:30 pm to get the status on my request and was told that they were working on the car. I called again at 7:00 pm since they closed at 8:00 and was told that the "adviser" was gone. I had to insist and managed to get my car back before closing. But no proposal... The 4 star rating is due to the experience I had today with the service center rep in front who was helping me. He deserves 1 star but, historically, the reps have been incredible and keep me coming back. The one today had a horrible attitude and did not seem to be at all interested in customer service.
