We look forward to stopping here a couple times a year when we are traveling. We are always happy to have the food choices and the dining room tables are clean! The bathrooms are nice as well. They also have a wide variety of road-trip snacks-and a large selection of gifts and novelty items!

View from my overnight parking spot!

I specifically chose this place to stop, visit and stay all because of the lighthouse. However, the interior, service and offerings were a bonus!

I loved this venue! It is huge, organized, and clean! I found the food court very enjoyable and I was happy to see that they had a full sized restaurant available for everyone. We stopped here, because we needed a Shell gas station and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful atmosphere! This feels like going into a little wonderland! Food, souvenirs, clothing, fresh foods, warm pastries, clean restrooms, a big food court with big multi chain restaurants, and they even have full sized restaurant! It is a proper travels experience!! I grew up loving truck stops and this has to be a top 10 for me! It's a warehouse sized shopping center in my brain. I can't believe that I drove by the big Light House out front and never stopped during my travels. I am now making it a point to add it to my stops when traveling on I-95!!! Don't miss this opportunity to stop and share your experience! God bless your travels! And thank you to the heroes that keep this 24 hour venue so amazing

The quick and dirty: This place has everything! A must stop if you're traveling on 95. After a long drive from the mid-Atlantic, we needed a place to refuel ourselves and the car. We'll this was the place to do just that - we had a little bit of fun, too. The store has all of the convenience store offerings but also has truck and auto supplies, gift shop, first aid - you name it! Pricing was pretty fair on gas and merchandise. We had a lot of fun walking around. The only thing missing was an area for dogs to play or use the bathroom.

You can get any and everything here for a skillet fried chicken dinner to chrome pipes for a big rig! I hear people talk about Bucee's as the ultimate truck stop/gas station but I think that's only because they haven't seen Kenly's. Where else can you find not one...but two FULL SIZE 18 wheelers INSIDE the store! Wow!

So I was almost done with my review and then, poof, it disappeared. We have passed by this rest stop several times traveling up north and back. It appears to be a rest stop with all sort of sparkle to the eye. I would not say it was an absolute intention to stop here; it was more of when we need gas, food, restrooms, etc., we will stop here if it is convenient. The first time we stopped here was late at night. You do not realize from the road how much is really here, in one spot. The parking lot is huge. There are plenty of gas pumps as well. Hubs went inside to use the restroom and grab a coffee. He came out and just told me to go inside and check it out without giving me any details or emotion lol. Yeah it is pretty overwhelming when you walk in the door! It looks like the size of a supermarket or warehouse. There are some fast food restaurants located inside. I figured I would use the restroom since I was there. That took a minute to locate and when I did, it was clean and had plenty of stalls. I then browsed the aisles. They had everything you can think of! Apparel, auto parts, Christmas ornaments, souvenirs, weapons, snacks, drinks, toys, decorations, etc. We stopped here again on the next road trip, during the day. I went to use the restroom, grab a coffee, bought some flip flops, and inquired about lotto, which they did not sell. The cashier was friendly and personable. The prices were somewhat reasonable. It is a truck stop so I'm sure it is very convenient for those drivers.

What a great stop along interstate 95 whether going south or north. This place has everything even if you aren't a truck driver. You can get food and snacks here. Gas or diesel fuel of course and they have all kinds of souvenirs and other unique products. Lots of truck parts as well.

Growing up there was slight excitement stopping at Truck stops, yet Kenly 95 takes the cake as I felt like I was inside an amusement park. Although the food court was closed due to C-19, the Drive Thru is still fully functioning - Wendy's (24 Hours), Iron Skillet, Dairy Queen & Subway to name a few. There are still other Grab n Go food options readily available. Amongst this huge food/gas/gifts/shower/clothing/fleet wash stations, this is home to the annual East Coast Truckers Jamboree...postponed until next year. I then realized the premise of an actual truck being on display in the lobby & all related truck memorabilia. Perhaps one of the cleanest public restrooms I've utilized. We were here around Midnight & the small hand of employees working & via walkies extended welcoming service. Kenly 95 is located just outside of Kenly, North Carolina along I-95...hence the name perhaps.

Super cool place to stop when your traveling I95 and need a break or food. Tons & Tons of stuff to check out under one roof. It's a truckers paradise for sure. There's quite a few places to eat that's open as well. Bathrooms were large and clean

Too cool for a simple gas station! Clean restrooms, sit-down dining options, accessories for your car or truck, and a welcome respite for kids who have been sitting in the back seat of a car for several hours. And free wi-fi for downloading podcasts to sustain you for the rest of your trip!

I'm not one for truck stops and typically will avoid at all cost when on the road. The why is obvious as they are typically everything we do not want in a fuel, restroom break from the road. However, Kenly 95 Petro may just be one of the best truck stops I've ever been to. This is coming from a non trucker. Parking was adequate in front and the lot had only minor debris. The area at the entrance tidy. There is a cool photo op area in front with a light house and Kenly 95 on it. There is plenty of fueling pumps in the rear. I did not need gas on this stop and cannot speak to this area. Kenly has multiple food options including a nicer sit down restaurant and a few fast foods like DQ and Wendy's. The food court type area was clean. Our family elected to hit up DQ and Wendy's both and found them both above average. Restrooms are in the massive merchandise area. They were clean with proper supplies. But there is much, much more like the incredible truck displays, especially the hot Pink Peter Built rig on "display" in front with lights flashing. There is a full 18 wheeler and pick up trucks on wall displays. We are not talking Matchbox here, these are real life size vehicles. The amount of merchandise on the floor is staggering and of course trucker, road related. Even mattresses for the sleeper rigs. They also have other conveniences for drivers who live on the road. A gym, a barber, TV room and of course showers. I may have missed something, but everything I saw was clean and darn cool. I did not purchase anything and did not have any type of staff interaction. Looking for one of the best truck stops you may ever run across while traveling, check out Kenly 95.

Big truck stop with a huge gift store. The cashier was very busy this morning but keep up with the line and friendly. The bathrooms weren't very clean last night (only 1 stall was usable - some were broken, some filthy, and half were closed off on one side so you couldn't get to them. The girl was in "cleaning" this morning but didn't smell any disinfectant or cleaner at all. Floors hadn't been mopped in a while looked like. Paper towel dispenser gives out 3 inches of paper....seriously? Got to do better!

This rest area is located on southbound I-95 at mile marker 47 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, near Fayetteville. It serves as the southernmost rest stop in the state before crossing into South Carolina, making it a convenient final pause for travelers heading south. I have stopped here many times on numerous trips over the years, and it has consistently impressed me with its upkeep and amenities. The layout is thoughtful, with separate parking sections for cars and large trucks to ensure safety and organization. Interestingly, the truck parking is positioned closer to the highway, while the car parking is situated farther back, reducing noise for passenger vehicles. There always seems to be plenty of parking available, even during busier travel periods, which is a relief on long drives. The parking areas are centered around two single-story brick buildings that give the site a sturdy, welcoming feel. One building houses the restrooms, which are always clean, well-stocked, and functional, with modern fixtures and good lighting. Adjacent to it is the vending area, offering a selection of snacks, drinks, and quick refreshments for those needing a pick-me-up without leaving the interstate. The entire grounds are impeccably maintained, free of litter both inside the facilities and outside in the parking lots and green spaces. One standout feature is a very nice plaque dedicated to NCDOT employees who were killed in the line of duty--a poignant reminder to drive carefully and appreciate the efforts that keep our roads safe. Adding to the appeal, there are picnic benches scattered on both sides of the car driveway, providing spots to stretch your legs or enjoy a quick meal. Some tables are shaded under trees or canopies for comfort on sunny days, while others are open for those who prefer the sun. The shaded areas make it especially pleasant during warmer weather, and the overall landscaping contributes to a serene atmosphere amid the highway hustle. This rest area isn't overly fancy, but it excels in the basics: cleanliness, convenience, and a touch of thoughtfulness. Overall, it is a very nice rest area that always seems well maintained, and I highly recommend it to fellow travelers needing a reliable break on their journey through North Carolina. Enjoy.

The staff was friendly, and the room seemed very clean at first glance. Unfortunately, our stay took a turn. In the middle of the night, my dog wouldn't stop barking... and that's when I noticed a roach crawling across the bed. In the morning, I also found a baby roach in the bathroom... then before check out a few others, easily killed 6 roaches between midnight and 9am. While the price is right for a quick motel stop and the convenience can't be beat, the bugs were a big downside and made it hard to feel comfortable. If pest control improves, this would actually be a solid choice for a budget-friendly, pet-friendly road trip stop. Edit: I forgot to mention, the night we stayed was pretty hot. The air conditioner was running all night, but the room never really cooled down. It stayed humid and felt more like we had a fan blowing than actual AC. We ended up sleeping without any sheets or blankets and still woke up hot. (This might only be an issue for those who like to sleep under blankets with strong AC like we do.)
