This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The tour was a typical tour however the tour guide was phenomenal. Anna was so knowledgeable and personable. Again better than most of the tours we took in Kentucky. The grounds were beautiful, the drinks were well crafted and original amazing flavor. Great live music, games to play, and a food truck. Every person working was helpful and treated you like family. Bourbon is on the high end however when you hear and realize how much is locally sourced and their story it's worth it. Drive out here you won't regret it!

The brunette bartender wouldn't acknowledge us at all--no eye contact, no response--even when we tried to ask a simple question, just moving on to the next customer. When we finally got to the blonde bartender, the experience didn't improve. She seemed uninterested in helping, rolled her eyes when we asked questions, and was dismissive when my wife asked if her drink could be made less sweet, saying "that's just how it is." I also asked a question about one of their bourbons and was told to go to the store where they could tell me, which didn't make much sense and would have meant starting the whole order process over again. We even overheard another customer mention they'd been dealing with the same attitude all night, so it didn't seem like an isolated incident. This was our second visit. The first time, on a similarly busy Sunday, everything was great--which makes this even more disappointing. Based on this experience, it will likely be our last visit.

Has plenty of room inside if there's not some party going on. It's about $6 a pint. A way to be charitable is to pay a few more bucks to get the Ability Amber. This is an amber ale, of which the proceeds benefits Project Mobility, which gives bicycles to disabled children. This has notes of plum and raisin. Has a kitchen but food is limited. There's often a food truck out front where you can get things like chips for $2, lobster rolls, and more. Good place to get locally made beers and liquors. It's closed Mondays. They often have food trucks.

The lavender syrup is made in house and was sweet, with a floral taste . The drink was excellent. They have open mic nights and live music.
