Small, quiet KOA. Bathroom was clean. Good water pressure in the shower. Trees for shade. Water and electricity available. We didn't use the pool or laundry facilities. If you stay here, bug spray is a must-have. SO many mosquitoes and flies. Not the owners' fault, just letting you know. read more

A place to spend the night, but that's about it. Generally, KOA Campgrounds are all pretty homogeneous, they all look pretty similar. They have similar amenities and such. However, I feel like this location does not meet the standards of a KOA. To be fair to the owners though, the location suffered major flooding last year. Looking at pictures online, it was far better before the flood, but the owners seem to be doing all they can to make the place fully operational again. Because of Covid guidelines, the laundry room was closed, but this is no fault of the facility. Also, when the reservation was made, the employee warned us that that got lots of rain the night before and the place was soaked, so this would explain all of the standing water. The sites themselves were fine. They were fairly spacious pull throughs that were almost perfectly level. Standard 20/30/50 amps were available. The place has a slight bug problem, probably due to its low elevation in respect to the surroundings. However, we were told that the camp store closed at 8, but it actually closed at 7, so that's a shame. Where this KOA loses stars is the fact that a campsite was over $60 a night. This is unacceptable given the condition, but once again, I understand that the owners likely need revenue to rebuild. Overall, this is adequate for an overnight stay. However, I suggest going elsewhere if you value scenery and amenities. read more

Super clean, tiny KOA. A great stopover on our way out west. We arrived late and left early, but the bathrooms were spotless and the campground was quiet. The owners were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative is that the wifi had a poor signal even though there weren't a lot of campers staying there / using the signal. read more

This KOA is located right off 90 (can't hear it tho) and is in excellent condition. The size the camp ground isn't the biggest but has 2 cabins, RV canoe & tent camping. The bathrooms were super clean which always makes for a nice stay. read more

We had a quick one night stay on our way home. I was a little disappointed that the pool closed at 8. I really enjoyed the wading pool for my toddler and baby. Only 2 washer and dryer units. Overall it's a nice facility for a quick stop between destinations. read more

The guy who checked me in was really nice. The location had a lot of space. My only complaint was that there are hard, painful stickers all over the grass. My little dog had one stuck in his foot and I had them in my shoes. Not the KOA's fault--can't control the plants! Just make sure your kiddos don't run around barefoot. Otherwise, it was nice and quiet! read more

Called late from the road and they still had plenty of room. Most sites are pull thru. It's close to the interstate, but the noise is barely noticeable. The employees were very helpful. read more

This is a very clean Campground with great facilities including a heated swimming pool and a kids wading pool. Most sites are gravel, level and large pull throughs. All have picnic tables and most have a tree which does not interfere with satellite reception. The owners and staff are engaging and involved. We had high winds and rain on one night. The owner came to each occupied site to make sure all were aware of the coming storm and made suggestions about securing our equipment. The only draw back to the park is location. While it's close to I-90, there are no recreational activities nearby. This is a good stop over Park on the way to attractions out west or on the way east to Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Chicago but it's not a destination park. read more

We drove from Montana to Iowa last fall with a three-vehicle carivan which included a moving truck that topped out at 55 mph and the other two vehicles which contained myself, my mother, and my two children. It was a very long trip, as we traveled about 4-5 hours at a time each day before the kids had had enough and had to stop for the night. We stayed at virtually every KOA between Bozeman, Montana and Central Iowa. I can say without a doubt, this was the nicest KOA I have ever stayed at. When we arrived it was after closing and due to the fact that we were in a very remote area, I'd lost cellphone signal about a half hour earlier. I couldn't call ahead to say we'd be late. We pulled in and freaked out because everything was dark. I walked around the building and couldn't find anyone or anything and started to panic since its not like there are any other hotels in Kennebec. Finally, I spotted a note taped to the door area. There was a nice Welcome note, our keys, a map, the wifi code, everything we needed. Got to our cabins. Spotless. Very nice. Went to take a shower and the bathrooms were the cleanest I saw on our whole trip -- and super close to our cabin too! Nice screen doors on the cabins so you could let air in but keep bugs out. When morning came we realized there was a great playground for the kids to play on while we packed up. My husband went and got coffee (make sure you get coffee here from the camp store! It's good and when you drive 50 miles up the road heading East and there is not a place in sight to purchase coffee -- don't even think about getting gas station coffee out here -- you will wish you'd had some of this delicious fresh brewed coffee!) and chatted with the owner, who was very friendly. I think we were the only people there the night we stayed. Seems to be a place people mostly just pass through for the night, but if given the opportunity, I would definitely camp here for several days because it is not crowded, the area is actually very nice and the campground itself is clean and has lots to do! read more
